I’ve been to this hotel over 100 x. This hotel recently double charged me & refused to refund me for the charges. I’ve called this hotel 6 times….they give me the run around everytime & their drinks cost about $30.00/drink. If you go upstairs or have drinks @ one of the bars watch your charges….this has happened to me several x at this hotel. Also, the hotel rooms need serious renovations & the pool is tiny. I recommend staying anywhere BUT this hotel in Oldtown. Also, don’t let this hotel restaurant fool you……the restaurant that’s part of this hotel has been like 4 other names. It goes out of business & then gets reopened by a different owner & the food is disgusting, cold and overpriced. Smh.🙈

We were very disappointed to not be able to use the pool Saturday because of pool party. We would have stayed some where else if we would have known.

From the moment I began planning my trip, I knew The W Scottsdale would be special—but I had no idea just how unforgettable it would become. Even before arriving, I was already blown away by the incredible service, thanks to Yasmin, the hotel manager, who was in touch with me ahead of our stay. This was not an easy trip we were traveling to be with my grandmother, who was ill. It was an emotionally heavy time, and yet Yasmin made everything feel lighter. Her warmth, empathy, and genuine care went far beyond what you’d ever expect from a hotel stay. She treated us as if we were part of her own family, offering support, compassion, and kindness in a way that truly touched our hearts. To top it off, Yasmin arranged a thoughtful and personalized treat in our room that left us speechless. It was an unexpected gesture that meant more than words can express. It’s rare to encounter someone with such a gift for hospitality Yasmin is clearly doing what she loves, and it radiates in every interaction. The W Scottsdale itself is stunning and vibrant, incredible pool, live entertainment but it’s the people, especially Yasmin, who make it extraordinary. I will never forget this trip not just because of the circumstances, but because of how The W Scottsdale and Yasmin made us feel so cared for during one of the hardest times in our lives. Thank you for making us feel like family when we needed it most.

Recently stayed at the W a location I frequented many times and have fond memories of an amazing staff... Ohh boy things have changed there was another review that mentioned "Shalisa" at the front desk and boy did I get a suprise when she checked me in, rude is an understatement. Every time I ask her to repeat something she would exlaim in an aggressive manner "I ALREADY TOLD YOU!" which felt very belittling as I am hard of hearing which I explained to her aswell and she just sighed right in my face! HELLO!? God forbid I have questions about a property I decide to spend $500 a night to stay at... Never once did she acknowledge my existance after check in and when I had to come down to swap my husbands card she was busy watching tik tok videos at full volume and I had practically beg her to make time time to assist me... talk about customer service. When we swapped cards she made no conversation and was twitching her eyes at me trying very quickly to get me away I was going to ask for waters for the room but her demenor just made me so uneasy I had to go back to the room and call down. Everyone else was very nice but I should have took the other review to heart, it really is amazes me how one sour apple ruins the whole bunch in this case Shalisa, so thanks once again to Shalisa for ruining what had the opprotunity to be an amazing weekend with my husband. Please take action against this as I didn't believe the review at first but will never stay at this property and tell all my family and friends to stay away because nobody should be treated like this.

Pay attention to the bad reviews-they are accurate. I didn’t and paid the price (literally). Shalissa at the front desk was the absolute rudest person I’ve ever encountered. She needs a new job! She ruined my whole trip when I checked in. She was mean and rude to me. They don’t even care if you’re a Premium Elite Marriott member so don’t bother. My room was on the second floor. Pretty sure she did that on purpose because I asked for a quiet room. Instead she put me in the loudest right by the pool party! If you like to party and drink alcohol till wee hours of the morning, this is hotel for you. If you’re in Scottsdale for business, find another place to stay. It’s all about the club, party atmosphere here. My room was dirty (see photos). I will never stay here again! I will say on a positive note-Tre at the Valet was wonderful. Super nice and accommodating
