Hotel Katuxlan

Very good location. Excellent Bussines hotel

The Gamma was lovely. Clean rooms, lovely lobby, outside pool area was wonderful. Centrally located, close to Calle 59. One of the two elevators was not working. We were there during Holy Week, hotel was full. The beds in our room could use an upgrade in the near future. Staff in the dining room were lovely, however buffet was the only option and unnecessarily high in price compared to other breakfast restaurants near by. Overall a lovely hotel and we would definitely stay there again.

The Gamma is ideally located to the Sea Gate and Calle 59. Everything is walkable. Slightly expensive, food outlets priced high. Busiest weekend ever and only one elevator working. Otherwise rooms are clean, pool is excellent with bar.

Basic hotel, with a nice pool and outdoor space. A lot of families with children. Nice staff, perfect location. I'd give it a 7.5 overall.

Muy bien ubicado y en buenas condiciones

The Gamma was out favourite hotel in Campeche. We booked months in advance. When we got there, they told us we did not have a room because the President of Cuba was visiting and his delegation took over the hotel. Gamma should have advised us or Expedia in time for us to cancel and get another hotel. Gamma sent us to their sister hotel called Nonna Mia and offered free continental breakfast, nowhere near as good (and on top of all, there was a blackout at Nonna Mia that knocked the ACs and the water pumps for hours! - overall, not our best trip). Expedia blamed it on us for not calling them right away when we were told by Gamma we had no room! Overall worst experience w a hotel and w Expedia. We've spent thousands on the hotel and Expedia over the years. I am pausing bookings here for a while. We have at least 5 trips in the next 12 months, but won't book w Expedia. And won't stay at Gamma for the foreseeable future. (We asked Gamma and Expedia for half of the bill as refund for the inconvenience - some $175 CAD - which both denied - so we will take our business elsewhere until we feel we got that back somehow).

Great view and close to everything.

The check in was quick and staff were excellent. Property is very nice, excellent pool area. Very nice restaurant on site. Very close to the old city with plenty of street dining.

Best hotel in Campeche. Overall nice, however, due to construction pool and outside area not available for use. Sitting area in lobby blocked off and not available for use. The room has a balcony however there’s no sitting area.

Good restaurant. Close to the waterfront walk ways. Good views. Close to downtown.
