Hotel Katuxlan

Loved the view of the ocean and the malecón

Really appreciated the doorman letting me park my motorcycle right at the entrance. The pool was closed for maintenance but other than that all was great.

Its the perfect location, ocean views from room with balcony and walking distance to town center plaza and right across the street from the broad walk malecon, coffee shop right outside hotel and walking distance to great food area. Unfortunately food at hotel was just ok,and leadwaiter we got twice was just outright rude, unlike the staff at the entrance very friendly. Hotel really needs a remodel, but for location i would stay there again.

The property is well located and has more space and facilities than the Colonial Hotels within the wall

Had a great stay - excellent location and hotel. Just one small frustration with the in room coffee machine - really dislike the nespresso machines, especially when the pods don't work properly.

Nice view from room we had of gulf and CAMPECHE sign. Easy walk to Centro and an OXXO right around the corner. Had onsite parking, though packed. WIFI was kind of flaky so I would not use for work.

Rooms need maintenance, found mold in the shades, and the futon has seen better days, location is the best feature of this place

The hotel has lots going on in the plus column; great location just steps away from the old town, bay views, decent air conditioning, nice water pressure and comfy beds. We understand with the number of people in town to view the annular eclipse, they may have been off their game, but the service in the restaurant was insane. We were asked to take a seat at a table with dirty dishes and used napkins. There were lots of workers bustling around but hadn’t noticed much going on as far as clearing tables or refilling coffees, etc. They had some fresh fruit but the other choices were dismal and their juice was nothing but sugary water. When we got the check for the breakfast buffet, we were astonished at the price of $650 for two. So in short, we’d stay at the hotel again but no way would we waste our money having breakfast there again.
