Hotel Katuxlan

Hôtel is nice clean and nice ground floor But insufficient parking facilities The bar is poorly stocked, does not have Kalua for cocktails, and never had tells the bar tender who did not know what is a white Russia ! Room are not at the level of quality expected for , very loud and aged AC unit, floor tiles of different color from poor repair. 20% of floor tiles sound hollow or a little loose Bathroom shower sprays everywhere and sink faucets loose and old . Breakfast buffet ok but overpriced. Service is nice.

Lovely hotel with a fantastic view of the water. Pool is very cold in a refreshing way. The staff were attentive and helpful. Rooms spacious and clean and quiet. I think they all have water views. Breakfast is a buffet and reasonably priced but I think you may be able to order from the menu too. Unknowingly I came on the final weekend of Carnival so I could watch the nightly parades right in front of hotel. In the other direction, a 3 minute walk to the historical centre. Lots of restoration work going on and when this is finished it will be even more beautiful - bright coloured buildings, narrow cobble stone streets. And lots of restaurants with many different type of food. I had a great visit and would recommend the hotel - the best location in Campeche at a reasonable cost.

The Staff were fantastic and super-helpful when we had a medical emergency. They went out of their way for us in every way. So VERY MUCH Appreciated! thanks, Misael, in particular, was so helpful in every way. It was great to know that 'he was taking care of us' no matter how difficult our requests... Thanks Misael and all the other Staff. You truly should have an award for Customer Service!

This popular hotel is at the end of the pedestrian area and close to Puerta del Sol (city gate). I had room 307 which had two queen beds, a balcony (I think all rooms have a balcony), with a straight-on sea view including the Mayan Angel sculpture.

Great location and service. Rooms large and beds very comfortable and balcony definitely a plus. Plenty of hot water and pressure for showers. Restaurant dinner very good and reasonable but breakfast buffet expensive and not worth the $30 price tag. I would definitely recommend this hotel
