The Boathouse Phuket

Tbh, booking the hotels for your vacation is always difficult to choose coz let’s face this, most of the accommodation’s advertisements and realities barely match, as in the pictures of conditions of rooms are always shown nice and luxurious however when you face the real place, it is not the same. But I have to admit that The Boathouse Kata is way beyond than I expected. Starting from the welcoming and hospitality from the front desk staff all the way to housekeeping department, every single person is absolutely amazing. Hotel room, location, cleanliness, food, service etc (I cannot mention all enough) are definitely worth money spent. The fact that it was raining every single day during our stay cannot depreciate the value of property and our enjoyment during our stay at all. Definitely a place to recommend and I am 100% going back there over and over again. Big thanks to all The Boathouse Phuket Team. 🙏

Exceptional lunch at The Boathouse! Chef Jonathan prepared a special curated menu for us and it was the highlight of our trip! Carefully crafted and portion sizes were perfect! Shame to hear that Chef Jonathan will be leaving in December! Were looking forward to host and event with him next year but he will not be around anymore by then.

Great location on Kata Beach, excellent internet, good service.

For breakfast, I’d prefer a buffet rather than ordering from a menu, as the dishes often didn’t meet expectations. The price is slightly inflated.

Another visit to the Boathouse and my lofty expectations were exceeded yet again. The location is absolute beachfront, the staff are friendly and helpful, and right outside the front door is the hustle and bustle of Kata Beach. What sets the Boathouse apart from every other hotel I have stayed out in Asia is the food. Chef Jonathan and team made every meal from breakfast to late night snacks an experience to be remembered. Fresh produce and a creative menu meant I didn’t want to eat anywhere else over the course of my ten day stay. I travelled through Singapore on my way to the Boathouse and every meal I ate at the Boathouse was better than every meal I ate in Singapore – a foody capital. 10/10

Superb experience. Perfect for a more mature and relaxing escape. Beach is lovely, staff/vibes/food equally so. Quiet area with easy access to all experiences you could want.

Had lunch here many times which was always very good and finally got to stay for one night in a Junior Suite with balcony. Room was lovely with a great view and staff are very friendly and helpful with an almost immediate response rate. Managed to spend time at the pool and take advantage of the Happy Hour cocktails. Good choices for breakfast and you cannot beat the location right on Kata beach.

Great hotel...staff are welcoming and helpful, room was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, usual amenities and with a great view from the balcony. Lunch excellent as usual, breakfast had good choices and the restaurant has the best location overlooking the beach. Cocktails at the pool were perfect!

Everything. The staff was wonderful. They made you feel as if we were their only patrons. Could not have been a better experience.

Absolutely nothing.

Great location, friendly staff. Our room was a bit dated and could do with new towels. I would stay there again but not in our room we were next to the car park and their was noise all night.
