The Boathouse Phuket

Fabulous, just fabulous! Perfect location, amazing view, attentive personnel! There are many decent restaurants around, but chef in the hotels restaurant is without equals. Highly recommend!

Hi, I stayed here from August 5-7. The place was nice, and the staff service was excellent. Overall, everything was very good. However, considering the room rate, I expected the room to be more convenient and comfortable. The air conditioning wasn’t very cool. They did offer to move me to another room, but moving rooms with a lot of stuff is not always easy or convenient. The staff tried hard to make sure our stay was pleasant, and a technician came to our room a few times during our stay because the electricity kept going up and down. Despite these issues, I appreciate their effort and will consider coming back for a second chance—hopefully, with a better room next time! 😆

Breakfast was included in our pricing, we were very pleased that we did not have to front a buffet every morning. Instead we were given a breakfast menu to choose from a healthy list with a lot of variety. Most mornings Mr X ensured we were comfortably seated at our favourite table in the dining area which overlooked the beautiful waves with the sound of the sea filled with surf board riders and swimmers. The smiling staff were always at hand if you required anything from information about shopping, tuk tuks, cabs, places to see, doctors, pharmacies and recommendations for dining out. Jonathan, the Boathouse Executive Chef was very pleasant and happy to chat about his expansive A la carte dinner menu which featured Thai and Western Cuisine. Daniel the Food and Beverage manager was extremely helpful also with information on the Boathouse history along other details which made our two week stay more pleasurable. Our holiday was made so much better with all of the friendly staff greeting us with big smiles each day, they made us feel at home. Pepe (the joker) made us laugh, the beds are excellent and our room room overlooking the sea especially at sunset was perfect.

The airconditioner in our room was a little noisy.

Even though the weather wasn’t the greatest it didn’t change the enjoyment of our stay. The food was delicious and the view was unbelievable

Very attentive and friendly staff across the board. Restaurant is great, had breakfast, lunch and dinner! Great location on the beach and a good blend of private pool area or public beach to choose from. Very clean and comfortable room.

The staff are simply wonderful...so welcoming, friendly, professional and personable, ready to take care of you with genuine warmth. We would like to especially thank Bovy, Pond, Pair, Pepe, Mr. X, Noom, Fon, Bam, Sine, Aob, Yos, Yasmin, Kwang, Mariam, Buri, Phan, Tar, Tik and Farit, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as memorable as always. Thank you to the talented chefs and kitchen staff : The Boathouse restaurant is highly regarded for its superb cuisine and excellent service, as well as its generous cocktail happy hour and special events. Thank you to all the behind the scenes staff too. The hotel pool is right on the beach, with its own private sunbed lounges, peacefully separate from, but overlooking the public beach, so you can choose from enjoying the crystal clear pool or the aquamarine waters of the sea, only a few steps away. If you are planning to visit Phuket, Thailand, The Boathouse on Kata Beach is a MUST!!!!

What's not to like? The location is awesome. The rooms and the view are exceptional and the staff are brilliant. Big shout out to Jonathan who couldn't do enough to ensure we have tasty food every day. Tik at the bar works tirelessly and Mr X was great in the restaurant
