Interstate 8 Motel

For what it was.. it was very expensive.. But, no more that the area.. That being said, When we arrived, the office smelt of curry so badly that, I almost had to cover my nose... The woman who checked is in was friendly enough but.. Her hair was oily and her shirt had oil stains all over it.. But, I wasn't sharing a room with her so, we go the room.. When I went to get into bed I noticed that the sheets looked stained..I called the front desk and was told that they are stained from the high mineral count in the local water..I live in an area that I have to de-scale my shower every 2 months..My sheets aren't stained.. When I took the sheet to the front desk, no one answered the bell.. The laundry room was open so I got another sheet and changed the bed..Breakfast offered was pastery and juice, but with the strong curry smell other issues ..We got breakfast somewhere else..I understand the price but expected more effort for my money

While this is an older facility, it is well kept, clean, the room was plenty big enough. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant.

Towels needed to be replaced. They were stained and no longer white. Floors looked clean but when you walked, your feet or slippers became very dirty.

It was a standard, no frills and no problems, place to stay overnight.

This town is in the literal middle of nowhere. The population is a couple thousand and has about a dozen hotels, and they are well occupied. So as a result, supply and demand rules apply, and this was the most reasonable room I could find in this town, but it cost twice as much as it should have. On a 10 day road trip through the western United States, this was the most expensive hotel room of the trip.

Decent room and cleanliness for the money. Nice restaurant across from the motel for breakfast.

After letting the office know that I had no need for my room to be cleaned multiple times they still cleaned my room and items were stolen from my room. There wasn't even a way to say do not disturb on my door so I could again let them know that there was no need to enter my room.
