The food was delicious, but not safe. It was overcrowded as they tried to earn money to the max.

I stayed at Calista Luxury Resort in January 2026. This was a "closed loop" vacation — I never left the hotel and ate only their food. The result? Acute Infectious Gastroenteritis (Diagnosis A09), antibiotics, and IV drips. But mistakes happen. What is unforgivable is the management's reaction. - When I called Guest Relations from my room feeling severe symptoms, they showed zero empathy and only granted a standard checkout extension till 2 PM. No doctor offered. - When I sent the medical report proving the infection, they replied that "1200 other guests are fine," treating me like a statistic rather than a victim. - They denied responsibility despite CCTV proving I never left the hotel to get infected elsewhere. This hotel is unsafe. If you get poisoned here, they will ignore you and hide behind lawyers. See attached photos: My medical report (A09) and the IV treatment I received after dining here.

To be honest, sadly there wasn’t anything special. If the hotel is advertising that it’s a luxury all inclusive resort, then this needs to be revised. It’s only main resturant food breakfast lunch and dinner with one ala cart very limited options resturant. For the price it’s unjustified at all.

The staff was amazing. They were so kind, helpful, and friendly from the first moment of interaction. The hotel is clean and beautiful, and the food is tasty. I can definitely say that the most important thing about a resort is the quality of its employees. We had an amazing holiday in this hotel.
