Das Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort hat uns insgesamt sehr überzeugt und wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel ist wirklich empfehlenswert: die Anlage ist gepflegt, die Atmosphäre entspannt und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt hatten wir eine sehr angenehme Zeit und würden das Hotel definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Zu Beginn hatten wir ein Zimmer, in dem es etwas muffig gerochen hat. Nachdem wir das an der Rezeption angesprochen haben, wurde sofort reagiert und wir haben ohne Probleme ein anderes Zimmer bekommen – ein wirklich toller und professioneller Service. Im neuen Zimmer war es deutlich besser. Wir haben lediglich festgestellt, dass es etwas unangenehm riechen kann, wenn man die Klimaanlage zu stark laufen lässt. Da wir aber größtenteils gut ohne Klimaanlage ausgekommen sind, war das für uns letztlich kein Problem mehr.

Exceptional service from friendly staff at every corner. Facilities were well maintained. Loved our terrace on the 1st floor near the pool room 423. They supplied a 3rd single bed in our room as we were 1 adult and 2 teens so it was comfortable. And three of everything in the room (robes, towels, slippers) Breakfast was amazing with a variety of tasty options including eggs Benedict, noodle soups, main courses you would find at dinner; in addition to the basic western breakfast options. We were full until dinner. Beach front access was beautiful, convenient and there were 2-3 restaurants and massage places on the beach to enjoy if you wanted to walk a few steps away. Loved the volleyball net on the beach, paddle boards/ kayaks(free for 1 hour of use), bocce balls, ample chairs/umbrellas on the beach /around the pool and the gorgeous pool. The play room was spacious and had a pool (billiards) table, air hockey table, ping-pong table plus PS4. My tween enjoyed it. Outrigger also has an app for announcements, information and correspondence with staff. Was super helpful when one needed something promptly. Overall a great experience for families. Lots of young families and it was super quiet by 9pm. We arrived during Songkran on April 14 and did several full day or halfday tours so not sure if they offered programs for the guests during the day but the time we spent at the hotel was quiet , calm and amazing. Airport transport is offered at 1800thb one way and is a 14 seater van . We would have been perfectly happy to take a sedan, but the van was what showed up. It seemed the resort was trying to be sustainable in their infrequent use of single use paper or plastic products in the room, reduction in waste in the restaurant, and how the hotel is run overall.l, which I value /appreciate.

Wish there were more options within walking distance as Grab taxis were harder to find and more expensive considering the distance wasn't far. Wish they offered shared airport shuttle option to reduce the cost and gas/carbon footprint. Also the room would benefit from more towel racks inside the bathroom or around the room
