"The property was nice, but the rooms need more."

The property was clean and looked very tropical and well kept.

The room was uncomfortable. It would be nice to add a small couch or a few comfortable chairs. Also, the windows need light blocking curtains. The outside lights stay on all night and shine right through the blinds. It’s hard to sleep with so much light shining in.

we enjoyed the size of the room, how it felt like your own mini villa

The pools could use some work, the adults only pool specifically was extremely warm and felt like bath water, the pool liner/tile had a film on it that needed to be cleaned and if you were leaning up against it would rub off on your bathing suit and just felt yucky. There were also a lot of gnats/mosquitos on the property I'm sure due to all of the vegetation on the property and near the pool that unfortunately found themselves in the pool, and you were swimming in them. The pool was not filtered or skimmed properly. The most unenjoyable part of our trip were the gnats/mosquitoes on the property. In order to sit outside on your porch you needed bug spray but they would still be swarming your face and same for at the pool. Maybe more frequent spraying or fans would help with this or complimentary bug spray. Also wish there were more frequent drop-off/returns to old town key west with at the time of our stay the latest drop off being 4pm and latest pick up being 9pm.

Lovely rooms, great restaurant, a choice of 4 pools. The jetskiing was super fun. Good facilities.

Airconditioner only kicked in intermittently overnight. I find continuous noise better.

Unsatisfactory experience. Not maintained as you would expect from this caliber of hotel with the star rating it advertised. Dirty pool and patios. Floors not cleaned and bathrooms dirty. No pride taken in the appearance. Left much to be desired. Rooms left to last minute to be cleaned. Forced valet which was not needed as the parking lot is right next to the rooms.
