Staff members were cool rooms were dirty had bed bugs and breakfast was not good

Upon arrival, I had to wait for someone to show up to check-in. We arrived at 8:15pm the pool was already closed, even though it said closes at 10pm. The lobby smelled like cigarettes a lot, even though I reserved a non-smoking room; everything smelled like cigarettes. The sink was not draining properly, I tried rinsing the coffee mug and water just sat in the sink. People were speaking loudly early in the morning. The breakfast was horrible. The waffle dough had a sour taste, it had gone bad. The biscuits had a bad smell and looked undercooked. Everything was not right to eat. There was no one at the front desk to speak to when we left.

We requested a handicap room. Everything was ok except the shower, which had all the bars and seat, but was high walled on the tub and hard to get into.

Very efficient check in.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

It is an older motel, but they keep it in good shape. It is convenient for us to stay when seeing family.

Location and ease of checking out.

Motel is Not maintained well. Staff not available to check in, had to wait for what seemed to be about 10 minutes. Other than the bed being comfortable the room was poorly arranged. The furniture, lamps, in bad condition, air conditioner/heater unit(very Loud ineffective. Basically made a lot of noise), the room did not have any USB outlets (standard the day and age.) This is not the same place I have used in the past. It has been about 4 to 5 years. Charlie Forbes

The tv was not working, otherwise it was good with a beautiful morning sunrise with clouds view
