County Hotel Chelmsford

Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice on the hot menu.

Pillow selection was poor, both were very firm. Maybe a bit more selection of fresh fruit on the breakfast buffet

Breakfast was excellamt. I chose room service and beautifully presented However the dining room where breafast served was elegant

I was bery well pleased and grateful Staff were lovely and very helpfull

I booked a single room. The room was in the near of repair and of poor quality. The shower leaked, My overall opinion of the hotel was very poor, Think or look elsewhere if you’re booking a hotel in Chelmsford.

Staff is great, breakfast is very good and location is perfect easy jn and out and just far and close enough to the city center

Rooms are noisy

Room in annex small and tiny single bed. Banged elbows against wall when turning over one way or risked falling out if turning over the other way. Not much for £129.

Staff were very attentive

Room was clean but tatty overall. Fire alarm went off several times first night. No information and no apology the next morning

Large bathroom. Nice common areas.

Bed was small for two adults. Fire alarm fault kept us awake for 2-3 hours on 2nd night; shower spray kept falling wouldn’t remain at height.
