Great experience. Great staff and clean rooms. Nice location

The breakfast had a small variety but made it work. The location is good for someone who wants to stay in stone town.

The rooms were stuffy and small. Did not have bathroom amenities. Cant open the windows, so the place felt a bit claustrophobic.

The staff are well trained. Their hospitality is exceptional…. We faced a problem with the booking website, however, the owner of the hotel upgraded us to their best room without us even complaining about it… Everyone was just so welcoming, and made us feel at home… The rooms are clean and big, AC working, big windows, yummy breakfast… Highly recommend.

The fact that when you shower water droplets go all over bathroom floor as there's no shower barrier like curtain or anything..

The location was convenient for our excursions in the Stonetown. The view from the rooftop (Bar/Restaurant) was nice. The personnel really did a great job to satisfy us and really make our stay easier - Kudos to that :)

2 rooms from 3 that we booked were far below average. Despite using booking of Genius II lvl, with upgrade and discount due to the genius level. Didn't see any real upgrade - except if they count the upgrade to be an offer of twin bed from a single. Described as superior rooms - if that are superior I pity the clients that had booked by mistake the simple rooms. Breakfast limited variety, tasteless but of decent quality of materials. Pictures were remnants of the old good days that the hotel has seen. No real care of improving the rooms quality. Hotel currently undergoing some works to a building across to create a new spa/massage area. The windows in the room need to remain always shut as the moment you try to open them either you can't or you will just face the opposite building's wall, so always with artificial light inside. Mold was everywhere and the 2 rooms where very smelly almost to unhealthy level. In both rooms the wall below the A/C unit was moist, yellow and swallen due to water run inside the room and not to the outside unit. The shower the same. Was taken a shower and thinking that am I really cleaning myself or getting dirty again. For both nights had to have the AC unit operating ~25degrees Celsius, to keep refreshing the air and be able to sleep. Mini fridge not working - probably for long time as it has turned yellow in the inside and it smelled very bad. Certainly not a value for money - 2 nights with additional 5% for card transaction (POS) a little bit more than 150€ per person.
