Location was brilliant lovely village hotel being built in the 1400's was quaint and lovely room was fantastic huge room with 4 poster bed and large corner bath whole experience was fantastic. Staff were very friendly too

Good full English breakfast Very nice evening meal in the pub the saturday night Kind and friendly owners Very good value for money Nice view on the British country from the room window Efficient heater in the room Free car park in the backyard

Room 10: Bed is a bit too small ( 1 m 40) for 2 XXL persons The old wood floor is very noisy

"Lovely old hotel spoilt by industrial boiler/fan noise. Sleepless night."

Hotel room and staff were lovely. But I was kept awake all night by 2 industrial fans or boilers kicking off/ going all night. Full disclosure that this was a noisy room would have been appreciated upon arrival so I could have asked to be moved. Nice big car park. Suite and bathroom were spacious and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean but bedroom was quite dusty. Staff were hard to find - I couldn't find anyone to ask about the boiler/fan noise in the evening.

Noise from industrial fans/or boiler. I thought these would cease after the kitchen closed but they did not. Boring menu - everything with chips and no hot meals without wheat. Staff not available to help.

"A lovely place, great location, and excellent management"

The place is perfect for a romantic stay/weekend. The room (Romeo & Juliet Suite) is great for either a short or long stay. The location is also great because it is very close to Stratford-upon-Avon and other historic and National Trust locations. The management is great and could not be more helpful. It was the third time we stayed there for 3 nights, and we are looking forward to our next stay at this lovely place. Thank you!
