Very beautiful location and amazing cottages by the sea. Only thing I would suggest improving is the customer service on departure - not very chatty or informative

The resort itself was amazing and sitting on what has to be one of the biggest and most beautiful beaches on the planet! The people were fantastic and the restaurant - well - above all expectations with amazing service and food quality that was definitely as good as and better than any other restaurant we have ever been to. The Seafood Platter for two on Day 1 was fantastic and the service was great ... but Day 2 when we couldn't get reservations and had to sit at the bar - What a great experience!! Domingo - the bar tender was awesome - an amazing ambassador for the resort and as welcoming as anyone we saw through our stay. The steaks were fantastic - who needs a knife!! Wow - kudos to the kitchen for an awesome dinner. Amazing experience right through to the last day - then the spa. Horrible and a complete waste of money. The ladies - i use plural because my friend described the same bad experience - appeared to just want to get it over with. Started 15 minutes late - ended a few minutes early - and quite obviously were just going through the motions. Maybe it was Easter Sunday and they just didnt want to be there but ... definitely a waste of money and a blemish on what was an overall awesome trip. On a side note - the sign says "Rainforest" on the side of the highway . . Do it!! You will love it.

The resort was wonderful. This is our favourite place to stay. Being able to walk right onto the beach, great food and very friendly staff.

They charge for movie channels on the tv which is outrageous for the price of the rooms.

A March trip we will never forget If you are looking for the perfect place to bring a large family - including your dog - look no further than Long Beach Lodge Resort on Cox Bay. We just got back, and honestly, it already feels like a dream. The resort has three layers of amazing. Our cottage had its own private hot tub, which was an absolute game-changer after a cold March surf session - there is nothing better than soaking under the Tofino sky after a big day on the water. Then there is the Surf Club, which has hot tubs, showers, a sauna and lockers to freshen up after the beach, plus a coffee bar and light menu if you want to grab something to eat or drink. The pool table and games were free, and the kids absolutely loved it - that space kept them happy and entertained all weekend. And right next to the beach, closer to the lodge, are the beach lockers where you can store your surfboards, boogie boards and beach gear. Everything is thought of, and everything is in the right place. Now let's talk about the weather - we actually came home with a tan. In March. In Tofino. The waves at Cox Bay were absolutely pumping, and we made the most of every single minute. What made this trip extra special was sharing it with my parents and our kids - three generations on the beach together. That doesn't happen often, and this place made it possible. The staff were incredibly helpful and genuinely kind. They even surprised us with some extra local coffee because they could see we couldn't get enough of it - that little touch said everything about the kind of place this is. We would 1000% recommend Long Beach Lodge to anyone. We will absolutely be back. 🤙

We have had the absolute pleasure of staying at Long Beach Lodge over the years, and it holds a deeply special place in our hearts. From the moment you drive down the forested road toward the lodge, there is a sense of calm, beauty, and belonging that is hard to put into words. The reception team is always warm, genuine, and welcoming—it truly feels like they care about each guest’s experience. We are often drawn into the Great Room, where the atmosphere invites you to slow down, connect, and simply be. Every detail of our stay has been exceptional. The dining experiences—whether dinner, breakfast, or time at the Beach Club—are consistently outstanding. The food is delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. The beachfront rooms capture everything we love about the West Coast. Traveling with our little min pin, Budy, and watching his joy on the beach adds to the magic. The Spa is wonderful and offers one of the best, most relaxing experiences we’ve had—truly peaceful, restorative, and thoughtfully designed. The outdoor spaces—like the BBQ fire tables, hot tub, and sauna—make it easy to unwind and take in the beauty all around. We always leave feeling grateful, renewed, and already looking forward to returning. It’s more than a stay—it’s home. 💛

Family vacation! wonderful week. We booked 3 beach front rooms and a 2 bedroom cottage for 5 nights. Great value for money and a wonderful opportunity to explore Tofino and Ucluelet.

This property is right on Cox Bay. The Rainforest Cottages are roomy and beautifully renovated. It is convenient to be able to rent surfboards on site. The housekeeping staff were very attentive and friendly. We used the F&B services for just one dinner. It was expensive but excellent.
