Long Beach Lodge Resort

To start my start my stay, I went to the Rainforest Spa. I highly recommend it. My room had an ocean view which I could enjoy from the balcony or from inside by the fire. The Great Room had a breathtaking view and great food too. I will definitely return in the future.

The Lodge has an understated elegance that harkens back to the classic beachfront retreat feeling you might expect in the posh Eastern seashore retreats for the well-heeled. Exceptionally clean, well appointed, spacious, and just plain comfortable. The staff actually make one feel like a guest rather than just a transaction, or even merely a customer. The beach is one of the most beautiful anywhere. Finally, not enoughcan be said about the food in the dining room, along with friendly.professional sevice. Everything was exceptional, a 10/10 all around.

We LOVE long beach lodge! We come here a few times a year and it is always top notch. Very clean rooms, on the ball house keeping and the grounds are well kept. Surf club always has what we need for a fun day in the water. Staff are polite and happy to help. We came with our 2 kids and felt at home in the cottages with everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

We love it here. We try to go at least once a year. This is our 6th time in Tofino and our third time at the long beach lodge. And we will only go to the long beach lodge from now on. You couldn't ask for a better location. And the restaurant has the best food and drinks.

It would be nice if the hot tub was closer to the lodge. That's my only complaint. First world problems I know.

I thought the crispy potato polenta dish was fabulous, but should be renamed because "mushroom mash" does not do it justice.. The smoked salmon was delicious and tender in "bagel and lox"and the bagel itself great, but the dish needed some garnish including whole capers.

I think someone really needs to re-think the kind of sound and the volume thats played in the Great Room. How about some relaxing or good classical music instead of bland thumping "musack", which goes on and on without form or shape. And in the Winter could there be an area of the Great room with a few empty tables for writing or reading ?

We had a surprise 70th birthday celebration at this resort ! The adjoining cabins ( good sound insulation ) worked perfectly for our group of nine , including dog ! Welcoming acknowledgement was appreciated . Units were well appointed , especially enjoyed the private hot tubs ! Housekeeping was top notch ! Unit had wet weather gear but we had unusual sunny weather to enjoy the great beach . Family dinner in restaurant had welcoming atmosphere with superb food and service. We will definitely return !

Such a great spot. Friendly and welcoming staff, comfortable rooms and excellent meals in the Great Room. Our dog Oscar also rates this place 5 Stars. This is our 4th (or 5th) time at LBL and won't be our last. Walking the expansive beach at Cox Bay is good exercise and good for the soul.

Way too expensive! Check your bill as taxed to death or many extra charges. Room was generic with no view. Beach was fabulous but what beach isnt in Tofino.

Long Beach Lodge has always been a magical destination. My wife and I have been coming and returning for many years. Originally from Toronto and coming to the island for a visit in 2016. We have returned most often during Storm Season. We believe this is the best time of the year. Rough seas, heavy rain and a sense of calm. Cox Beach, where you will find Long Beach Lodge is in our opinion, the best beach in Tofino. Great for everyone, young and old. The one thing I would suggest? Please!!! Consider an access for the physically challenged to access the beach. During our stay, we notice a younger couple with a child. The father was physically challenged, using a wheelchair. He also used another mobility device that was a more capable device. Unfortunately, there is no beach access for him or others that would have enjoyed the freedom and experience to access the kilometers long beach. Please look at providing access to the beach from the lodge for Everyone! Many areas down in Costa Rica provide accessibility with beach mating for people using mobility devices. We ALL want to have everyone experience the magic. You can do it LBL.
