City Centre Motel by OYO

I rented 2 rooms and they both were clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The surrounding area was safe and there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Overall I highly recommend staying here.

The room was clean and located right near the Seaside Convention Center, where I was attending a convention. Easy walk into town for dining and shopping

I arrived after a long working day as a nurse and had to check in at the sister location because there was nobody working at the location I was staying at. Then I'm hit with a $200 cash damage deposit because I'm a local? I live in Astoria, OR. Of course, I didn't have $200 on me and argued that none of that was mentioned in the reservation, only that there is a damage deposit. I've paid $75 most times, maybe $100, but always with my credit card. Staff was rude and very argumentative. When I went to turn in my key and get my deposit back, they actually called the housekeeper to make sure I hadn't damaged the room!! I'm a 58 year old nurse, and that was degrading !!!! I will NEVER stay there again

It was a great place to stay for us. We were attending an event in town. The room could have been a little updated. Things were clean and staff was friendly.

First I do not like no manager on site and you check in at another location. That is low class and tasteless The location is excellent can walk to anything, no one else was here so was quiet. Was clean and stocked fine, just glad no one needed anything as no hotel staff was there!!

My pup and I had a wonderful time and this is a great location .

We enjoyed our stay, a little outdated in some ways but it served its purpose for us.

I like the walking distance to the beach. Did not like that you had to check in at a different hotel. There is no A/C so had to have a window open and had people that wasn’t staying at the hotel agreeing outside. Then on the second night the power went off from the suite beside us using their microwave and they couldn’t get the power on, so we got moved to the hotel where we checked in at. Nice hotel, but a few mins into having a shower there was no hot water, so ended having a cold shower.

To check in we should drive to a different address. None to ask any question at the actual address. No chair in the room, nowhere to hang a clothes. No shampoo/conditioner, no hair dryer. I'm happy that I booked this room for one night only.

The room was much bigger than the pictures represented and it was amazing!
