WaterColor Inn & Resort

First of all, Randy, my guy….He’s been amazing both this time and the last time we came. We really appreciate him. In 2024, Randy talked my wife and friends off a ledge after a hurricane looked like it might hit the week we were staying there. When my wife expressed concern about the weather, he basically responded with “rain, what rain? My report shows sun and clear skies”. This time, he also took the time to show our daughters the “treasure chest” with the “sea babies” that was awesome. Our girls loved it. Olivia, also amazing, she even helped us get stuff set up for our oldest daughter’s birthday, hand-delivered some plates and utensils to our room… she was so kind. Thank you! We appreciate you and the help getting our daughter’s cookie cake all set up :). Sam, at the bar, really great and very personable. She handled a couple of the entitled “guests” with kindness and a smile, even though they didn’t deserve it. Sam, we hope your trip back to Mexico goes well and that you’ll be back next summer. Theo, very kind and attentive, also the second year we’ve had the opportunity to chat with him. Glad Theo is there to help. Brandon and Jared helped us with our arrival, toting around bags, setting up bikes, and our departure. I won’t even say they were great, they were far beyond great. I also appreciated that they seemed like a couple of guys we’d have a beer and watch a game with. They were very professional, but also real with me and didn’t make it feel “stuffy”. All in all, it was an amazing trip, it’s so great that everyone there treats you like family. I know there were several others we interacted with and just didn’t catch everyone’s name. Thank y’all for smiling and being so polite. The entire team is the reason we keep coming back.

Writing this review to let you know how amazing your staff at the front desk was to me on Thursday 7/24/25 around 530pm after Booking.com attempted to ruin my vacation with grandkids. After booking didn't confirm my reservation with Phoenix properties, I had to find other accommodations. I pulled up to your resort and you staff was so helpful and loving. Although they couldn't find accommodations the smiles on there face were perfect.

The lavender mist was very relaxing for the pillows and I loved every minute of it. As soon as I can rob a bank I will be back for a stay

Pleasant, laid back vibe. You can easily walk or bike to many places; but, if you want to venture further it’s an easy drive to many other locations: Watersound, Rosemary, & Alys beaches, as well as shopping in Sandestin. The rooms are comfortable (no desks though for those who still need to do some work, and no business center), bathrooms have nice, big showers with dual shower heads and double sink vanities. The staff we encountered were all fantastic :-) This was our first stay at Watercolor Inn and we would not hesitate to return!

Everyone at the hotel was extremely nice. From check in, to servers, to cleaning people, and valet guys, Everyone made our trip wonderful. It was so nice to experience GOOD service.

My family and I visited Watercolor over the 4th of July holiday. It had been recommended to us and it did not disappoint. In fact, it far exceeded our expectations. The beach is stunning (powder sand, clear water), and the amenities are exceptional. Multiple pools (and waterslides for kids), bikes, kayaks, cute shops & restaurants. We didn’t need to leave the resort for anything. The customer service was 10/10 in every way. We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful hotel, staff was very friendly and welcoming! It was very easy to valet and check in was a breeze. The staff was very knowledgeable in the area and had great recommendations for us. The rooms are very comfortable and most importantly, the hotel rooms are VERY CLEAN!! The staff was very accommodating.
