WaterColor Inn & Resort

Hotel Staff was welcoming, helpful, friendly, pleasant--they made our stay as good as it could be. WE had kids, age 10, 7 and 2 YO in our family group and the hotel's facilties were just what was needed to make their days full of fun while, at the same time not having a feeling of being so 'over subscribed' that you couldn't have freedoms to use the pools, water slides or other facilities for fear of being crowded by too many other people. But--my main message isthat Staff made our stay really good!

We loved the amazing staff and all of the amenities. The Fish Out of Water restaurant had really good food. The resort pool was nice. Great views (stayed on the 4th floor) and easy access to the beach. Beach club and Camp Watercolor were also fun! It was a great place to stay!

Great time. Biggest and really only criticism is that the beach is overcome with tight umbrella and beach chair setups. Feels like a money grab. Only front row can see the ocean easily and no other options. For the cost of staying at the inn, it should include a couple chairs and umbrella at the beach as it's a beach resort. Ive been to many beach resorts at a lesser cost and this was the first time i experienced this. We came FOR this beach and spent no time on it. Too inconvenient and detracted from the beauty of it that was advertised.

Beautiful resort! Rooms were very clean, comfortable, and staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! The pool was nice and had live music in the afternoons. Everything was very accessible from the resort as well. We enjoyed the on site restaurants and some options in the surrounding areas were easy to walk to. Would highly recommend!

The WaterColor Inn is a great small resort for a family - Guest rooms are spacious and nicely decorated and the amenities are perfect - The pool is beautiful and the easy access top the beach is great for everyone! The best part of the WaterColor Inn and Resort is the staff - We have never been to a resort or hotel where the staff anticipated your needs and would immediately go out of their way to accommodate you!! They were amazing! The restaurant, Fish Out of Water, was excellent - Great place to catch the sunset and again the staff was wonderful We will definitely return - We loved it !!

Private beach access! Treat sweet we’re great too!

Our recent stay at the Watercolor Inn was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had! Personnel - from the valet people, the front desk folks, the people who serviced the room - everyone was over-the-top helpful and courteous. The hotel and the attached restaurant, Fish Out of Water, have been recently remodeled and are gorgeous. I don't believe we have had a better hotel stay, anywhere. Every evening, room-service personnel bring around freshly-baked cookies, along with a recipe card for each flavor. These are the large, thick cookies like you get at a Mrs. Field's cookie store. One practice that management has is to send guests a text, if the cleaning personnel encountered Do-Not-Disturb sign on your door during the normal, morning cleaning cycle. This gives guests an easy way to reschedule that day's room cleaning, later in the day. I cannot overstate the quality of the service and courteous treatment we received from all the hotel personnel. Everyone referred to us by name - even our servers at the Fish Out of Water restaurant. You absolutely cannot go wrong at the Watercolor Inn. we also like to location - a short walk from Seaside. Highly recommend.

Incredible hotel stay! I don't believe we have ever had a better stay at any hotel. The newly remodeled Watercolor Inn is beautiful - everything is brand new, including the attached restaurant, Fish Out Of Water. All personnel were friendly and helpful. Room service personnel brought freshly-baked cookies every evening. Pool is wonderful. Location is very good, being a short walk to Seaside. We will never stay anywhere else on 30A.

The water, the beach, the rooms, the location. It’s all magical. I’ve been here three times and we will come again. We will be bringing family next and staying in a home or suite. It was our anniversary and it was perfect. Champagne and cake in our room. Everyone is friendly.

This is one of the most thoughtfully appointed hotels/resorts we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail far surpasses what we have seen at other resorts, from the Treat Suites to the nighttime cookie delivery/turndown service, to the amenities in the room and throughout the resort and they really set The Watercolor Inn apart. The rooms are comfortable and absolutely beautiful, everything was pristine, and the staff are helpful, friendly and hospitable. This was definitely a splurge for us, but it was worth every single penny.
