Meliá Orlando Celebration

We were looking for a quick overnight before going to the parks the next day. The location and price were what we needed but WOW! I was not expecting such a beautiful place and people that were so friendly and service oriented. I will always stay here when in Orlando.

Went to visit friends in Orlando. Stayed at the Melia for two nights. Great location; very friendly & profession staff; suite was spacious & clean. The happy hour and pizza (at the Wilson) were a bonus. We will stay here again.

We stayed in a “Level” room at Meliá Orlando Celebration in March 2026. As a family, we’ve stayed in numerous hotels under Meliá Hotels International and usually choose Level rooms when available, as we appreciate the added comfort, lounge access, and overall perks—they’ve always felt like good value for money. Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing, and we would not recommend upgrading to Level at this hotel. To be fair, the hotel appears to be going through a transition period. However, the condition of our room was unacceptable: damaged tables, worn kitchen cupboards, and stained curtains. We have photographs documenting this, and it was far below the standard we’ve come to expect from Meliá. On a positive note, the staff were excellent—particularly Carla and Kenzie from the Level team. They did everything they could to apologise, sympathise, and try (unsuccessfully) to improve our situation. They were also very helpful in assisting us with booking park tickets, and their professionalism stood out. One major downside is that Meliá does not operate the on-site bar/restaurant. Guests receive a breakfast voucher, but it only covers very basic coffee. Having to pay extra for something as simple as a cappuccino—especially after paying for a Level experience—felt poor and not in line with expectations. The Level lounge itself was another letdown. It is small, very basic, and lacks any real atmosphere. The frosted windows don’t even allow you to see outside, making it feel closed-off and poorly designed. We visited only once during our stay. This experience does not compare at all to other Level stays we’ve had. In fact, as I write this, I’m currently staying at Meliá Alicante, which is a world apart in terms of room quality and overall experience. That said, the location and pool area in Orlando were good. If the renovations and improvements mentioned by staff do take place, we may consider returning in the future—but only for a standard stay. For now, my advice is: if you want a basic hotel in a good location, this may suit you. However, do not pay extra for a Level upgrade here, as you’re likely to feel underwhelmed and disappointed.

Everything about Meliã was amazing. The room, the service. 10 out of 10 for our family. It having a kitchen was a plus!

We chose this hotel largely because it was advertised as including transportation to Disney World, but unfortunately, that ended up being one of the biggest frustrations of our stay. Transportation is run through a third-party company that is not easy to contact directly (left several voicemails), and you can’t reserve a spot until the day before. The limited schedule meant we couldn’t arrive at the parks for opening or stay until closing, and the one-way trip took nearly an hour. We ended up paying for Uber and Lyft all but one day, which completely defeated the purpose of booking here. The room itself was not clean. We found an old wrapper in the sliding door track and crumbs embedded in the kitchen table. The accessible bathroom was poorly designed, with the shower liner sitting several inches above the floor, causing water to spill out and create a slippery hazard. We had to use extra towels just to keep the floor dry. To note, we did not request an ADA complaint hotel room. The pool situation was not great. A large group of 30-40 boys were utilizing the pool with 10-15 of them playing chicken, wrestling and throwing each other in the air, making it unsafe for other guests. Staff walked by multiple times and did nothing. When we finally raised the issue, they handled it poorly—addressing the group in a way that made it obvious we had complained, creating an uncomfortable and potentially unsafe situation given that some adults in the group were drinking and not paying attention to the rough housing that was happening. We ended up leaving the pool entirely. Dining was another letdown. We chose to eat at the hotel restaurant based on their advertised “kids eat free” promotion and live music on Wednesdays. There was no live music, and we were incorrectly charged for the kids’ meals. When we brought it up, the restaurant manager was dismissive and gave us a hard time before correcting it. The hotels also noted having a gym facility. The “gym” was sorely lacking. It had a bike, a treadmill and small weight stand crammed into a space the size of a small bedroom that is hidden behind office space on the second floor of their lobby. To top it off, our Costco reservation clearly stated a 3 PM late checkout, but the front desk insisted it was 2 PM. At that point, it wasn’t worth arguing, and we left earlier than planned. This stay was frustrating from start to finish.

I love the stay and place when feel like home everything closed by gas food shopping etc lovveeeeeeee the pool and hot tub . My kids love everything bout hotel she couldn't get enough of pool and fun with game and her first swimming

Melia Orlando was really nice, offering a glass of wine on arrival(timely), a lovely restaurant, poolside seating, and a jacuzzi afterwards. The room as very nice and we slept great. We enjoyed the nearby town of Celebration in the morning before setting out for the day.
