Five stars for Jesús at the front desk. When we arrived, we had an issue with the room, and he went above and beyond to resolve it. He moved us to another room and followed up with us to make sure our experience was positive. Thanks to and just because of him, our stay was really good. The breakfast was nice and with choices, and the fact that we were just steps from the beach was amazing.

Our experience for the Amelia Island Seaside Hotel was disappointing. The room we booked 326 had a shower where the water wouldn’t drain, and the sink was also clogged. The windows wouldn’t open, even though we booked a beachfront room, in reality, our view was obstructed by a restaurant before we could see the beach. so, the rooms you book with oceanfront, should say, rooms with view of the ocean after the restaurant building, The carpets smelled damp, and the curtains were broken, so we couldn’t properly see the whole beach. We paid nearly $400 for one night at this hotel because it was right by the beach, but it’s an old hotel that hasn’t been updated. It feels overpriced for the facility, and what you’re really paying for is just the location.

"I will not be staying here again when I come back to Amelia Island in the future."

The property is in a really good location as far as the beach and a few local restaurants. The only good thing about our stay was our wonderful housekeeper. She helped us more than any other employee at this hotel.

When we arrived and first walked into our room, the first thing we noticed was it hadn’t been cleaned. We paid $50 for an early check in mind you. We also weren’t notified about city parking and on our first night we got a call from the hotel staff stating the city was going to tow our car if we weren’t there by midnight. Thank goodness it wasn’t towed.
