Good location

Very overpriced. We paid $360 a night, and it really is a glorified hostel. Fair value, I think, is maybe $150.

Rooms were very tired and in need of refurb. Hotel did not reflect the very generous description given to hotel on its website. In our stay of 3 days we had no housekeeping so rooms went uncleaned, towels were not replaced and tea and coffee were not replaced. Best avoided.

Our room was very dark. On the website all rooms are light and airy. This room was painted chocolate brown. Whilst the bed was comfy the bed head (some sort of vinyl coated thing) was falling apart, ripped up and torn. It was terrible. There were cobwebs in the room. Holes in the wall. No toiletries supplied. The arm chair (that was just about floor level) was covered in dust. The location was great near ANU but the state of the room for $250 so bad. And car parking was so far way.

Lovely helpful staff

The room was on the ground floor facing the street so seemed a bit exposed. There was a framed photo of a random man in the room which I asked the staff to take down. The shower easily overflowed to the toilet area. The parking situation is a bit tricky there at least on the wkend I was visiting (they had closed their parking lot for deep cleaning on a wkend which seemed like not the best time to do such a job), so had to park in a neighboring parking lot. Then had to move the car to their parking lot, which was a little challenging to navigate
