Capital Coast Resort & Spa

The hotel is actually two hotels with two different names on the same building. The other hotel is a kosher which is totally not the kind of a hotel that I would like to reserve with. I was locate in a hotel in the basement and all the drainage and AC ventilation were on the to my room. The noise of water and air was all the time as I am in the room. Most importantly, there was a man with a heavy weapon at the entrance of the hotel later in the Erving and in the early morning. I am totally disappointed with this hotel.

I enjoyed staying at this resort. I booked last minute and the price wasn’t outrageous. The staff was so friendly when arrived. The property was beautiful I was able to catch a sunset at the beach and it was breathtaking

Didn’t do anything special for my wife’s 60th birthday

The resort is well located, but needs a bit of TLC. Also the staff seems, at best, very unhappy and at times, rude and inappropriate. The food is not great but the cocktails were good. At breakfast, the buffet was often messy and not cleaned/restocked as people were accessing the items. One morning near the end of breakfast, a screaming fight broke out between members of the staff. A very angry woman who was yelling at several people and slammed and then pushed a door onto one of her coworkers. In the US, this would have been an immediate HR issue and for sure retraining or termination would be the outcome. As it was, it was extremely uncomfortable for the guests. Many of us left in a hurry. Unfortunately the dinner service wasn’t much better. No outbreaks of yelling, but the same sense of general unhappiness, which expresses itself in unfriendly interactions with the guests.

Just an overnight stop. I reported to reception that the room was excessively hot. She said it is winter here the central heating is on. We live in Cyprus and it was too hot for us we had to have the window open to cool down. There was tea making facilities but no tea or coffee when I asked about this I was told coffee and tea could be purchased from the minimarket (overpriced). We had difficulty turning the tv on and off the remote has been used so much the buttons didn't work. Having said that it was nice to get english tv that wasn't bbc world news.

Brad away to celebrate a friends birthday. I booked two single beds - it was a double! I could not use the sofa bed as it had a broken spring and an old, dirty, thin foam top which was in very poor condition. The reception staff were quite curt and not very helpful. However - the restaurant staff were very lovely, hardworking and efficient. The Bar man was really nice - so pleasant and polite. Our telephone didn't work and meant we twice had to trail back down to reception to speak to them. They sent a technician who was a such a nice young man, really helpful and so polite.

i arrived the place and got a tiny ground level room south side pointed. even though its winter time, the day i arrived the sun made the room feel like sauna. we tried to turn on ac and found that in winter time its just heating option on, and we couldnt open any window because there is no such. in the morning we asked to change room and the reception manager was so rude and antipathy. the breakfadt is dry and not tasty.

- cockroaches in the rooms - we requested to see the room before check-in and we was refused... first pay and if you are not satisfied you have to stay - the water at the spa was very cold - old and defective bed mattresses - - the housekeeper entered the room in our absence without consent even though we had "do not disturb" on the door

I set up for ealy check in as a VIP member, they wouldn't even listen to me but made me wait over an hour to check in

Generally, an enjoyable comfortable stay I would have thought the soundproofing of the suites may have been better , as we could clearly hear neighbouring guests and loud music drom iurside , even with everything closed.
