Gualala Surf Inn on the ocean bluff

We got a wonderful deal on an upgraded room with an ocean view! Honestly the nicest view I’ve ever had in a hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean! Easy access to places for your dogs to use the restroom. Mini fridge, microwave, keurig with cups and pods! Very nice touches. Jade was incredible!

Shower didn’t have much pressure and didn’t stay hot long. The position of the room with all the different larger pieces of furniture made it a lil cramped. Microwave was in French with no translations lol

The staff was so kind and generous. The ocean view from the front rooms is beautiful! The room was cute and cozy with custom touches. Breakfast and custom coffee are an excellent bonus allowing us to skip the restaurant for one meal. Love the check-in and out hours.

Tight bathroom didn’t have shelf for toiletries and bedding was light for chilly nights. The modern mini split heat/ac unit is great but I’d like to be able to turn it off overnight.

Location was gorgeous and Gualala is a great getaway town with good food options and cute stores and galleries.

Host/owner was incredibly kind and helpful.

The staff were nice, the coffee and breakfast were good. Beds are comfy, and the room is spacious. There is a dining table in the kitchen. There is a supermarket across the street.

We couldn't find a good restaurant nearby.
