Panviman Chiang Mai Spa Resort

We live in Hang Dong, so this beautiful paradise was only an hour away, making it very convenient to escape for the weekend. Every detail at Panviman was thoroughly thought out. Every tree and bush for maximum privacy, the way their pools flow from every level leading you to the serene mediation caves. Just wow. The pictures online look great, but in person it is just breath taking. Breakfast buffet was great with a variety of dishes. We absolutely loved the restaurant. The food was delicious and very unique. Living in Chiang Mai for almost five years now its not often we have a new Thai dish that we love. Well let me tell you they had a pasta dish that was Thai fusion. It was literally Kha Soi Italian style! Very fun and surprising! They are also setting up to open their new bar Moonstar or Moonlight... Moon something. :D Hands down THE best cocktails in CM. They have five very special drinks that must be tried. More of a reason for us to go back!

I can't say that there was anything we didn't like. The bed wasn't as soft as I like mine, but we are in Asia. All beds are on the firmer side here. As far as beds go, this wasn't as firm as they usually are, so I slept like a baby all night! Already booking a couple days here for next month!

Ausstattung der Zimmern ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aktivitäten wie Tischtennis, Billard etc. können nicht mehr nach 18 Uhr gemacht werden.

Absolument tout! C’était le plus bel hôtel de tous les temps. Un service exceptionnel aux petits soins.

Tout C’est un hôtel exceptionnel. Tout y est parfait. Les déplacements dans le resort avec des petites voiturettes, les points de vue,une très belle piscine Les activités proposées , nous avons regretté de ne pas pouvoir y rester plus longtemps

This resort exceeds all expectations in every way: Firstly, you get to picturesque location which cannot be matched. You eat all meals whilst looking out into the mountainside and seeing silhouettes of mountains. Secondly, the rooms are extremely well kept and the shower is unmatched. Depending on the room you purchase, you can even have a pool or jacuzzi in your backyard. The mountain room has crazy views. The facilities are fantastic. There is pool tables, table tennis, outdoor giant chess, spa treatments, pools, jacuzzis, a gym, and a million different relaxation areas. They even have free yoga classes and thai massage classes that you can attend. The food is also fantastic. As the location is isolated, having good food within the resort is a must. The restaurant can go above and beyond to meet your needs. I am a vegan and my partner was vegetarian; the restaurant was able to make custom meals for us at the breakfast buffet as well as dinner to suit whatever we were craving. They even went above and beyond and went to a local farm to get fresh passionfruit just for us on breakfast. The best part about this place is the staff. Everyone has a smile on their face and all staff are hardworking. From the people who drive you around in the golf carts, to the receptionists, to the spa workers, to the restaurant workers; everyone is happy to serve you. I had a nasty insect bite from a few days prior and the receptionst immediately got the medical kit and deinfected and wrapped my wound. Another receptionist took time out to show us the best rooms that they had to offer (this was after we checked out) which she didn't need to do but she did. Also a special mention to the restaurant worker, Chai. Every day he served us and made us feel so welcome. He had conversations with us, excitedly announced to everyone that we were honeymooning, and would also be so happy to see us when we visited the restaurant. Time after time he would make us feel so welcome. SUPER LOCATION!!!
