The Maples at Warner

Very accommodating, easy to find. Somewhere I missed the shared bathroom, however that was not a problem. Breakfast was delicious.

This is a lovely house with beautiful plantings all around. The bed room was well appointed with excellent comfortable beds. CJ provided an excellent gluten free version of the amazing breakfast she made.

The 1790 house is beautifully maintained. The room was lovely, the innkeeper, Cheryl was welcoming and a great cook and the big fluffy cat, Berger, made our time there special. Would very happily go there again.

On one hand, both hosts were extremely pleasant and welcoming—Cheryl via phone and email and Hank in person. They allowed us to check in later than the usual time and seemed willing to be flexible to allow us to have a good stay. Hank pointed out a small fridge in the dining room which had sodas and drinks. While there was no tv in the room, he said we could use the one in the living room if we wished. So all of that was good. But larger frustrations with the facilities made it an unpleasant stay I couldn’t recommend. The room was very small, with extremely low ceilings. I found it difficult, as an adult, to sleep comfortably on a twin sized bed. The bathroom was extremely cramped and also had low ceilings (I had to crouch to look into the tiny mirror and to get my head under the very low shower head). Because the shower didn’t have a lip, when I took a shower, water spilled out onto the floor. The bathroom door handle was made in a very old style and felt fragile and difficult to use. There was no place to put the bar of soap (no dish or shelf) aside from on the counter right next to the sink. The bathroom was outside the room, with only a not very private privacy screen protecting our route from the room to it. The building had a slight dog smell, which was confirmed when, as we were packing to leave, a dog wandered into our room. (The dog was very pleasant, but I’d prefer not to have to smell or interact with someone’s dog during a hotel stay).

The stay was wonderful. Very friendly and home feeling. Great breakfast, beautiful home and the cutest dog YoYo!

Beautiful home and wonderful hospitality, friendly but unobtrusive. Will definitely return if I can.

Cheryl was very quick to reply positively to a question I had as soon as I signed up to stay there. She even offered to change us to a different room which she knew would work out better for us. We arrived rather late in the evening and Cheryl walked out to the car to greet us and show us the way to our room. The breakfast was quite delicious too. The pets might be a problem for some people with allergies,but they are quite well behaved and friendly.

Nice antique home and furnishings for this B&B. Cheryl (Inn Keeper) is very friendly and has a great personality and sense of humor. Breakfast was very good when compared to the typical chain hotel breakfasts. If you are looking for a nice B&B, look no further.
