I imagine the maintenance of such a huge area is rather difficult; the lodge we stayed in (12) was rather dated with lots of dirty old cobwebs around the window frames, etc. We couldn't use the table outside as it was covered in dirt and bird poo. However, we were only there one night so we made the most of it and had a great time.
There was a slight issue with our chalet booking but Caroline on reception quickly resolved the problem. Caroline's help was very much appreciated.
A mess with the booking was mitigated with a complimentary meal, superb services
A very beautiful and historic hotel. The staff were pleasant enough but most forced their smiles, I felt a bit inconvenient for them and less they could do the better. The room was lovely and spacious and offered everything you may need other than a large mirror. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room but I was surprised by the cheap brands they offered. Breakfast was nice and a very good choice. You park your car in front of the hotel so no real parking spots. I did enjoy our stay but for a grand golf hotel they could certainly work on a few things to make it better.
It could be cleaner. Equipment dated and kettle dirty. Restaurant average and my son ordered pancakes for breakfast, which were disappointing...Staff nice, but slow. I think Broomhouse hotel seen better days.
Beautiful country manor in the woods. Peaceful surroundings. We stayed in a cottage lodge for a group of 4 adults. It was spacious and well appointed amenities. Very clean. The washer/dryer were handy to was clothes halfway through our 2 week vacation. Would definitely stay again
