Broome Park Hotel

A three night stay in Lodge 9 was really brilliant! It was secluded in a lovely woodland area. The lodge was very spacious with very impressive en-suite and bathroom. The swift local bus service at the main gates allowed us to visit Canterbury and Folkestone without the hassle of parking. The facilities for tennis, table tennis, snooker and putting ensured we were kept busy. The only slight disappointment was the pool was quite small and shallow.

Reception staff v helpful. I booked a four poster room as this was all that was available. The building is rambling due to its age but bedroom was comfortable with great views.

Amazing looking, Staff were lovely, Not what I would dirty but with a closer look, not the cleanest. Sat in the breakfast room the wall was stained with coffee and the beautiful windows defo needed a scrub and tidy, Bathroom if room had the odd sign of previous guests. Grandeur of the place A1 and the grounds exceptional, lovely staff.

Beautiful building and decor. Very historic, great breakfast. Very good service and nice staff. The only.minor issues would be that our room didnt have mixer taps on washbasin but i guess thats prt of the heirtage look. The mattress in my room caused me to constantly roll to the middle of bed so obviously worn unevenly so perhaps they need to flip the mattresses around every few month. Swimming pool.was good, just wished it had a sauna even if a small.one as pool was not busy. Overall an excellent stay, extremely good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lodge for one night ,it was clean and a good size for all of us .It was a little dated and the sofa bed was not the most comfortable. The receptionist in the main building was friendly and helpful ,cant fault him at all. Nice area ,nice place to stay for a short break. You need transport to get around as its not in walking distance of anywhere ,hence the peacefulness of the place .

This was quite the stay! Luxurious building that was classy and beautiful. It looked like a castle on the outside. Inside was spectacular with solid wood molding and gorgeous decor. Our room was huge! The beds were very comfortable and the decor was grand. The views were also spectacular. We didn’t utilize the restaurant but did enjoy a late night drink at the bar. My husband worked out in the gym and enjoyed a brand new rower. The area is remote and the WiFi was spotty but the stay was spectacular.

We stayed in one of the “cabins” on the estate and really, it was more house! It was great! Lots of room and amenities and location was near to everything we where seeing.
