First time staying at hotel and was extremely happy. Staff are extra friendly and room was great. Extra comfy bed. The food was superb. We will definitely be coming back to stay.
Lovely old character style hotel. Friendly staff in reception let my colleague and I have a few holes of golf before sunset with no charge. Well priced drinks and food. The lady serving in the bar was grumpy but that was the only negative. Would highly recommend
Overall was a nice stay seemed to be a little short staffed wasn’t quick enough to bring out the hot food so a little disorganised but apart from that was a pleasant stay

Beautiful stately home converted into a hotel. The room we had was in the East Wing with a large Georgian bay window and a four poster bed. We had lunch on arrival which was excellent. Unfortunately the breakfast was dismal. We expected a proper cooked breakfast but instead there was a buffet laid out which was very bland and cold. It left a of sour taste on our stay. Literally. Other than that the staff were excellent.
Absolutely loved it out in the lodge. So peaceful and quiet but with everything you need. I could hear all the animals around me. Breakfast was fab definitely with the money as you get a Buffett and a cooked breakfast.
Pretty location not far from Folkestone. Staff where very nice but not terribly efficient. We enjoyed the food and the dining area is pleasant.
Second time staying here and the lodges in the grounds are great for families, really spacious and comfortable. Pool area was much cleaner this time but the pool on our first day was freezing cold making it unpleasant to swim. It had warmed up by the second day though so this was quickly sorted. Weather was bad so didn’t do the woodland trail but it’s lovely and fun for the kids. Didn’t eat in the restaurant but used the bar which is cosy and a good range of drinks options.
