"Great value"

8.0

Great hotel. Shuttle bus to downtown is convenient and runs on-time. Good pool and decent restaurant. Rooms are good size and maintained well. Second visit to Marrakech and second time with this hotel.

"Nice relaxed and friendly hotel"

8.0

Very pleasant visit. Friendly and courteous staff. Food was good and surroundings were well looked after. Shower head could use some TLC!, but generally happy. Hotel is 10 min from the main Jemaa al Fna square and 10 min from the airport. They have a minibus to town. Hotel booked some excursions for us, really enjoyable. We had half board, breakfast and dinner were both enjoyable. Make sure you agree what's included, eg lunch, guide around the sites, whether other people will be in your party etc.. Marrakech is charming. Friendly people, families out late, we'll go again.

"Hotel Experience"

6.0

The hotel was very clean. At this hotel they hold weddings, there was a wedding for two nights in a row which was very loud and really loud music until 3am and we could not sleep. I left a pair of expensive glasses downstairs in the hotel which were never returned or handed in :-( The rooms are cleaned everyday and really nice cleaners. Beds in the hotel room are awful; they are really hard and uncomfortable. The bedcovers weren't nice or comfortable to sleep in. The location of the hotel is very far from the main square. Where it states this hotel is 15 minute walk etc, its actually 1 hour walk or more from the main square but there is a shuttle bus every 2 hours between 7am - 11pm from the hotel. The bus ride is around 15 minutes or more to the main square and a further 10 minutes to the last stop.

"Have patience"

4.0

You must have patience if you stay at this hotel. We waited over an hour to get checked in the reception. Later I had to call 5 times to the reception desk to get a bath towel. Eventually I went down and finally got one. The surroundings and view from our room, was a big dusty building site. There is a free shuttlebus. The breakfast is ok. Non-alchohol bar.

"Ryad Mogador Kasbah-great hotel, terrible staff"

6.0

The hotel was absolutely stunning and was at a great location with a free shuttle bus running to and from town. However, we had massive problems with some of the hotel staff. One particular staff member was extremely unfriendly, unhelpful and just plan rude. Another issue arised when the assistant at the hotel's jewellery shop said we could get our names in arabic and then tried to sell us necklaces which were not in our names, insisting they were our names and not allowing a refund we settled on jewellery half the price. Overall we had a great time and its unfortunate that some really horrible people destroyed our feeling s towards the hotel.

"Ryad Mogador Kasbah"

8.0

Over all hotel was very very nice. Decorted by Maroccan style. Rooms were amazing, spacious, clean and had everything what you possibly need, keeping in mind that it was more than 45 degrees conditioner done its job perfectly. The only one thing which wasn't pleasant-service, but on the other hand-it's Morocco and you can't expect anything else. moreover, they have amazing swimming pool (very clean and water was ideal for the current temperature). breakfast were great as well, everybody could find what to taste. However location isn't ideal if you want quick access to center. It is like 30min walk to the main square. there are no stores around, so if you need water or snacks, have to buy in hotels restaurant. The only neighborhood is building sites, although very quite. Would love to go back and spend some more time in there. Oh, and they are not british friendly, but all Morocco is like that:)

"Very unfriendly and unprofessional"

6.0

Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff. The hotel is clean and nice but there is no decent restaurant inside or any service for drinks at the pool. The food in general at the hotel is not good.

"Good value for money. But the"

10.0

Good value for money. But the location is 5-6 kms from D´jaema el fna Sq and the Gueliz area - both very popular with tourists. This was well compensated with a free shuttle bus 8 times a day from and to the hotel, this worked almost perfectly during our six day stay. The area is a bit dull due to ongoing construction work nearby, but on the other hand is the hotel well worth its 4 star status - spacious rooms, nice staff, good breakfast and so on. The website for the hotel indicated a spa section with indoor and outdoor pools and a sauna ("Hamam"). In reality there was a nice, but not heated outdoor pool and some other indoor facilities. For swimming we were adviced to visit the nearby hotel Ryad Agdal (same hotel chain), also a nice and comfortable structure, but very expensive. Entrance fee to the heated pool was 12 Euros per hour/per person, use of the sauna was charged with 15 Euros extra -adding up to a total of 135 Euros for 5 persons. Nice swimming - but totaly overpriced!
