Elevator needs replacing, didn't always work. Owner keeps his beautiful dog tied behind the counter 24/7. Breakfast was inedible.

The first night there our bath tub leaked to the room under us. The staff called our room at 9:30pm while I was trying to put my 6 month old to sleep. Then we found out that the pool and spa weren’t working which was the reason why we booked this hotel. The second day we moved rooms because of the leaking tub. Only to have a roach in our room and the toilet leaked and ran both nights. On our 3 rd night the elevators weren’t working and we had to walk up the stairs with our 6 month old, all her stuff, and I’m pregnant. Worst hotel experience of my life.
Always enjoy our stay at La Quinta, marked down one star as the advance on line check in was completed before we left home but yet we had to do it again at the front counter - so much for saving time at check in. Sounds like a computer issue that needs to be resolved. We had hoped to enjoy the hot tub but it was closed for maintenance, would have been nice to know that up front.
The property was fine and staff was great
Lots of road noise at night but not their fault - close to major hwy. Pretty lean on amenities in room and breakfast was not restocked for late arrivals.
The only down size was the hot tube was not working
