Nice breakfast

For nearly 300€ per night it missed expectations by far, not 4-star quality. The building is old and does not look like the photos on the internet. Feels like they have not invested in it in 10 years (the floor of our bedroom was falling apart and there were wholes in the wall). We also had an issue with ants all over the bed and the whole bedroom on the last night, we had to change hotel as they were fully booked (which was paid by us). They said they would refund us the last night but since then, they have stopped replying to us despite follow ups on the status of the refund. We are still waiting for a refund or a reply and it’s been more than a week.

Beautiful view, perfect location, really nice staff and super breakfast.

Posizione vicina al centro storico di Otranto; struttura pulita;

Nella nostra stanza non era possibile modificare la temperatura dell’aria condizionata impostata fissa a 19 gradi, per cui o si accettava di congelare o si chiudeva e ci si svegliava dal caldo( senza neppure la presenza di un telecomando); segnalato il problema, oltre alle scuse, non sono riusciti a risolverlo e dovevamo chiamare in reception ogni volta volevamo modificare la temperatura. Questo ha reso il soggiorno spiacevole. Altra nota deludente la colazione, assolutamente monotona e sguarnita sia nella parte salata che dolce.

L’albergo mostra i segni del tempo e avrebbe bisogno di qualche intervento di rinnovamento. La colazione, purtroppo, non è all’altezza di un 4 stelle: scelta molto limitata, qualità appena sufficiente e nessuna variazione tra un giorno e l’altro. Un po’ deludente, soprattutto per chi si aspetta un’esperienza più curata.
