Regent Beach Hotel & Apartments

We found this hotel very dated.. The hotel needs a good clean and renovation.. Carpet in our room was very dirty.. We had dinner at the Hotel restaurant on the beach and felt the service was very bad, food wasn't much better.. Breakfast was disgusting table clothes dirty, rotten fruit and nobody really cares about the customers at this hotel... Don't go there!!

Name und Empfangshalle versprechen mehr als das Hotel halten kann. Das Frühstück war eine Frechheit. Die Tischdecken waren noch vom Vorabend verschmutzt. Es gab ausschließlich Fischmesser und das Bufett war ausgesprochen lieblos hergerichtet (die Cornflakes wurden in zerbeulten Originalkartons angeboten). Aus der Dusche kam nur tröpfchenweise Wasser - später funktionierte sie wieder besser. Wahrscheinlich kann nur eine bestimmte Anzahl an Leuten gleichzeitig duschen. Das einzig gute an diesem Hotel ist der Umstand, dass man nur 5 Min. zur Fähre nach Messina braucht.

The reality has nothing to do with the information on the webside. We had garden apartment. The standard was terrible. Dark,dirty, furnished 30 years ago. Nothing to eat for breakfast except cakes. Aircondition only in the one room from 2. Staff very nice and friendly but still we were very disapointed by the standard.

Das Hotel hat bestimmt schon bessere Zeiten erlebt. Beim Frühstück muß reichlich Abstriche machen, lediglich der Kaffee konnte begeistern!

We arrived after a long drive from Naples. Check in prompt and efficient. We asked about dining room times - 2000 hrs. She we arrived at dining room it was obvious we were not expected and they had a large convention group. When we explained the managers set up a table must for us in another room and we had them dinner of the day served by a wonderful Eliana! The e room was fine BUT the staff was so very fine dealing with a difficult situation😁

Its a lovely property and they certainly tried hard. The rooms were big enough but not gigantic - and being a restricted mobility traveller was happy that i had a walk in shower. Although the placement of the shower head seemed odd. The beds were 2 single which don't work particularly well for me and not what was requested however we only stayed 3 nites so managed ok Breakfast was included and was certainly not the best we had on our travels but 'filled the spot' so to speak. Evening meals were good and the wait staff were fabulous. There was a mix up on check out with money and the english speaking staff werent on at that time so we had to wait until they arrived to sort it - however it was all sorted and we left happy. . . like others have experienced wifi was bad - and if thats an issue perhaps another hotel would suit better.

This hotel is nice for those who seek being close to the sea and sun. We have stayed in a room apartment out of the main hotel building which was just few steps from private beach. Plus is definitely the hotel location and a private beach. There is a lot of space for improvement in terms of breakfast and wi-fi coverage. The breakfast was quite repetitive, nearly every day the same choice, we were missing having bit more fruits, but O. K. if you don't mind eat every day the same. Wi-fi coverage is not good, the strongest signal is very near the reception desk, but forget about wi-fi if you are few meters from the reception, there was no wi-fi even in the breakfast room. If you want to switch off for a few days and just enjoy being literally on the beach, perfect choice. If you need to work a bit, you may have some troubles. People in the hotel are nice and always smiling.

Staff were friendly and helpful. One of the receptionists went out of his way to assist us with finding bus times. Room was modern and clean. The hotel Pizzeria was situated on the beach which provided a lovely option for dinner. Would stay here again.

in my mother's room all her jewerly disappeared when she was on the beach and they REFUSED to call the police and give her any paper!!!!! TOLD HER IT WAS HER PROBLEM . Food bad and service as well. Don't go there!!! NEVER EVER! Water in June cold imposible to swim.
