Hotel Las Golondrinas

Only thing that was good about this place was that it was close to fifth ave and had free parking.

The hotel lost power twice in one day for a few hours each time. While I understand that this was not the hotel's fault, my friend has asthma and could not breathe in our room due to it being hot and humid. We expressed these concerns to the front desk and asked if we could receive a partial refund so that we could find another hotel with power. However, the man working at the front desk was rude and refused to comply with our demands. He disregarded our concerns about our friend's health, and this was absolutely ridiculous for the price we paid! Do yourself a favor and do not stay here... it is better to pay a little bit more money to stay somewhere else.

Clean and quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, beaches. Skip the breakfast at the attached breakfast bar ... there's a nice little Mexican restaurant on the same block with excellent breakfast menu.

Very nice hotel in a great location just a few blocks away from 5th. Staff was fantastic and helpful with all our needs. Atmosphere is very tradition with the courtyard. The only negative was lack of water pressure in the shower but it was sufficient to get the job done. Would stay hear again. Few doors down was a great latin fast food joint which have great portions. Ate there twice. Location on main street and extremely safe.

The reception staff, Bianca and Armando, are exceptional. They are extremely friendly and helpful for whatever you might need. The hotel is very fortunate to have such hardworking and loyal staff members. Additionally, the cleaning and maintenance staff do a wonderful job as well. Everything is kept neat and tidy. They are always cleaning and the place looks wonderful. I especially like the different towel arrangements on the bed each day. Very cute.

The hot water was out for 2 days. The safe didn’t work because they said the battery was probably out. They gave me a lock with key to use for the box, but that didn’t work. It was clean and great location. I sent an email asking about private transportation from airport, they said take the ADO bus.

Booked a room because I needed bathtub . No hot water. Reception dude was aware if this before I paid and took key. No internet. Wifi. He argued. Said it was my phone. As this was happening another couple came to say the SAME THING. I never stayed. No discount or comp
