Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Hobbs

We come to Hobbs for softball tournaments, and this is the place we always stay. It's always been clean great service from staff. Breakfast is always good.

Staff- from checking in to checking out it was a mess had to keep going to front desk because I was getting double charged from them and booking. First girl stated she didn’t know how to pull up booking so her manager would take care of it in the morning so I put a card on file until they figured it out. Morning came a different girl said booking never called them so I had to call booking to get a refund. Called booking they called the front and said it was taken care of and the charges from Fairfield would drop. Then at check out a different girl still said my card would be charged. I just let it be and called when I got back home and only got charged by booking. Fairfield charges went away so booking said they had to teach staff to input the code. It was a headache going back and forth and think it’s a huge teaching lesson for staff to learn to do a simple check in with booking if they continue to have problems call booking and get everyone trained. 2nd thing if breakfast is over at 10am and people are still eating at 9:30 DON’T pick up the food. I would understand to clean up 5 mins before 10am but not at 9:30am. Every time I did go to the front desk & I mean every time there wasn’t anyone there and had to shout “hello” so they can hear me from the back. 1 person should always be up front Just no common sense or customer service by staff
