"Refreshing. A safe and quiet hotel where one could relax"

We loved our room and the bed and pillows. Loved the full-size refridgerator and the pool and jacuzzi. Everything was clean to the max. The staff was so very friendly and helpful.

I loved the heat but then it would have been better that the heat shut off automatically instead of blowing cool air to maintain the thermostat setting if it got too hot.

"Perfect start to a trip through Maine"

This was our first hotel stay of a week traveling through Maine- perfect. From our check in with Sally at the front desk to the very good breakfast served before our departure it was a great experience. The rooms are spacious, very nicely appointed and the hotel is very quiet for being an airport hotel. I want to particularly mention Sally again for she was beyond accommodating and gracious to the point of remembering our names several times in passing. A hotel Hilton should be proud of.

"Possibly the best Homewood Suites in the US!"

Wow, what a great visit! We have stayed at many Hilton properties (and other big brands) over the years and this Homewood Suites ranks among the best! Sally checked us in and she could not have been nicer especially to the family with 2 young boys who checked in before us (she upgraded them to a bigger room right by the pool - they were thrilled!). The hotel is well maintained (thanks James and Domaine - we were surprised to hear that it has not been renovated recently - everything is in great shape), the rooms were large and comfy and super clean. Kudos to Maddy and the team - breakfast was tasty, displayed with care and replenished frequently (added bonus of overnight oatmeal!). Highly recommend a stay if you are visiting Portland - it’s a quick trip downtown and also super convenient to the airport.
