"Good room, weird food setup"

Room was good size and clean

The restaurant/bar is no longer open. It was very frustrating that this wasn't disclosed upon booking. Breakfast also wasn't served on Labor Day Monday and that wasn't disclosed either. The breakfast is pretty weird now too since the restaurant isn't open. They put out a pretty meager buffet style but then charge you based on what you get, all while not communicating what's happening. It's not expensive, but creates a very strange customer experience.

"Comfortable Stay, Room for Improvement"

Check in was courteous and pleasant, however there was no acknowledgement of Hilton Honors nor was I offered bottled water. I only mentioned these as a potential learning opportunity for the front desk staff. Also, I changed the credit card from the one used when making the reservation at check in and was not asked for an ID. This is a security concern and another learning opportunity. (I used to work at a hotel) The room was comfortable with nice extra storage space for guests staying longer. I wish the vanity lights in the bathroom were on a separate light switch than the overheads. It is too bright for an all in one switch. Location worked for me. There are a couple of other Hilton properties nearby as well as some restaurant and coffee options. The airport is 11 miles away, but easy to get to with close freeway access.
