Hilton Garden Inn Huntsville South/Redstone Arsenal

Fantastic hotel. Clean. Safe. Convenient to Huntsville. Quiet. Great bed and bathroom.

One of the reasons I picked the Garden Inn was they had breakfast and dinner or so they claimed a restaurant. Breakfast was awkward with very limited selection but was adequate. The staff seemed nice but not really capable of changing anything for the better. The rooms were pretty good and clean but the coffee selection was very limited and I had to go down to the desk to get refills. The shower worked well along with the rest of the bathroom. The airconditioner worked well too.

When I went to dinner there was no food according to the staff it was not being delivered and this appeared to be the standard for the Hotel. Evidently is was permanently closed. Also the elevators although functional appeared to be quite beat up with holes in the top of the doors and at the bottom floor tape was being used to hold the access panel onto the wall. It looked like the hotel was suffering profitability issues and everything was being minimized to control expenses.

Great stay

The hotel was nice and the room was clean, but I will never stay here again because it’s dog friendly and my room smelled like a dog.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great hotel, and in a very good location.

The property overall was fine. The phones in the room half way worked. And when they did work, staff didn’t answer the phone on second or third shift.

We ended up staying 1 night, then left. I was told that when showing up to check in, the pool would be fixed the next day. I asked the next day, won't be open till sometime the following week... I felt lied to and will never stay here again.
