Great stay for the price

hated that We were woke up by the smoke alarm at 1245 in the morning due to a staff member smoking in the downstairs bathrooom

The hotel was fine but was over run by kids that were totally unsupervised. They ran up and down the hall all night and were very loud even after midnight. The fire alarm was set off during the night and we had to get up and go outside! We were unable to use the elevators due to kids riding them up and down. It is managements job to make sure all guests are attended to. For the price we had to pay for two nights we expected a lot better. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they said sorry it is just the way it is. We will pass on this hotel next time.

I’m extremely disappointed that I spent nearly $500 for two nights of absolute misery at this hotel. Honestly, I would have been better off sleeping in my car. Night one: The bedding was dirty. Then, at 12:30 a.m., the fire alarm went off. No one provided any communication or reassurance about what was happening. Guests eventually gathered downstairs while the alarm blared for 30 minutes. When the firefighters finally arrived, we were allowed back to our rooms, but no explanation was ever given. Night two: We wanted to eat dinner in the common area, but the staff refused to turn on the lights, claiming they aren’t allowed to after breakfast. The front desk employee was incredibly rude. Another guest was so frustrated that he asked for her name and her manager’s contact information, but she refused to provide it and was shockingly disrespectful. I’ve never seen such unprofessional behavior from hotel staff. I rarely write negative reviews, but people need to be warned. I also reached out to hotel management, but it’s likely a third-party operator who didn’t seem to care at all. I don’t expect a refund or any concern from them, but I can at least save others from making the same mistake. There are hundreds of hotels in Columbia—do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Breakfast was an excellent service, and the staff taking care of it all was really exceptional. I complimented her on the presentation, and cleanliness during the full time.. and she was VERY busy!
