Hotel Baia di Puolo

We had no idea how wonderful this hotel would be! If we could give it an 11/10 we would. The location was a bus and shuttle ride out of Sorrento, so if you are looking to stay somewhere a bit more chilled out I recommend it. As well, the free hotel shuttle that takes you up to the bus stop makes it very easy to get into town. The staff was so helpful and friendly with all our needs, especially with the 24 hour reception. The marina that the hotel is located in is BEAUTIFUL and the beach club that you can go to for free with the hotel out the front is a perfect way to spend a day. The included breakfast buffet is in a beautiful place and great food and coffee. The rooms are equipped with aircon, TV and a mini fridge, as well as a stocked bathroom. The bed is comfy too. I highly recommend you stay here if you are looking for a beachside vacation on the beautiful Amalfi Coast.

The property is very nice, clean, you can get an ocean view room, it has a beach. The only thing I didn’t like was the parking that is high in the mountain and you have to take a shuttle to go to the hotel. We got there at 1am and we were lost. They never informed us where to park. They told us the shuttle was closed after midnight. Thank God we had a small car and went down the mountain hoping to find the hotel. We did, we got our luggages down and then the guy at the front desk went on his small car to show my husband the parking lot up the mountain. They charge you $10 euros each way when is after midnight or before 8am. I wish they could have explained us better the parking situation before our arrival. Also, they should have coordinate better how we were going to meet to get to the hotel if they knew we were getting there after midnight. I called many times before going there and they said just call us when you are at the airport. We did and they said the shuttle is closed.

Lovely little hotel in a beautiful setting. The view from our balcony was stunning. Quiet and friendly, away from the hustle and bustle of burst Sorrento. The narrow little road down to Marina di Puolo seems a challenge, but the complimentary shuttle service to/from either the car park part way down or the bus stops on the main road make it perfectly good, and add to the charm of the tiny village.

A wonderful hotel in the most lovely little Italian seaside town. An authentic experience, made most comfortably by staying at Hotel Baia. Recommended to other couples and families and gladly would return.

Wow. We had the most amazing time at this hotel! We wanted to stay near Sorrento, and go to capri on our trip and we were able to do both!! The area around the hotel is beautiful, amazing restaurants and gorgeous views. It was so fun to swim in the water and see mount vesuvio from there. They make it very easy to get to capri by offering a boat to bring you to a marina where you get on another boat to capri. The staff were all extremely kind and helpful, and answered all of our questions and made sure everything during our trip was convenient. The next Time we come to Italy we want to stay here for a week instead of only 3 nights. Thank you so much for the wonderful time, and we will be back next summer! :)

I was shoked when i arrived. We rented a car at the airport abd didnt realize i had to park somewhere else and get a golf cart to take us to the hotel. It was inconvenient as last golf cart was 11pm
