Hotel Baia di Puolo

The hotel room is big and comfortable and the staff is very nice and friendly. They are super helpful The scenery around the hotel is awesome as it is located on the beach But that is also its biggest downside as taxis cannot come to the hotel and you have to rely on shuttles to complete the last leg of your trip. So in the morning the logistics of planning your trip is complicated as you need to schedule both the shuttle ride as well as the taxi time. And the taxis generally end up charging a premium to come to this hotel due to its remote location. If you don’t plan on using this beach when you are in Sorrento as you will visit Amalfi Coast suggest you don’t stay at this hotel as the logistics are complicated. Easier to stay in Sorrento Centre with walking distance access to Port and shops / restaurants

Hidden gem about 15m by car from Sorrento - the hotel shuttle (cute fiat) will drop you at a bus stop two stops from Sorrento so you can get into town quickly/cheaply. The bus runs every 15-20m. Very nice friendly staff and a beautiful view/oceanfront, with walkable rocks/mini 4’ “cliffs” to jump off and a charming breakfast.

This has to be the worst hotel i ever stayed. I wasnt told that but, you have to park away from the property in the woods in the mud. Then call the hotel for a pick up(which i wasnt told) the food is in a restaurant that ran out of food.

This is a small local hotel in a remote bay outside of Sorrento. Very difficult to find, quite remote parking and not much English spoken. Its on the beach but you will have to pay for the sun beds. No information for travellers in reception or the rooms

Amazing location. Amazing for a short getaway if you dont want to explore. You have everything you need there, and you dont need to move. If you are looking to explore, hire a car and there is car parking, and the hotel them offer a "shuttle" which is a hotel man in a small car. Pretty funny experience. The hotel is based around restaurants, but no mini shop to get snacks. The only other thing is, that the rooms didnt come with a kettle which we wouldve loved to have our morning teas. Otherwise clean and friendly! We will definitely visit again!!!

Overall a good stay! Service was great. Location is wonderful-right on the beach and a 15 min drive to Sorrento. Has access to lounge chairs and umbrellas. The marina nearby provides access to boat rentals, excursions to Capri, Positano, etc. Since the hotel is down by the beach, the parking is situated at the top and you would have to be shuttled to the hotel. It’s a quick 2 min drive and the shuttle service is available until 12:00 a.m. The restaurant below La Tavernatta was fabulous. Great service, great food, great ambiance! We ate there every night during our stay. It’s a really cute beach but I would recommend that they try to clean it once in awhile (too many cigarette butts).

This place is a secret little jewel. It’s quiet and calm from the crazy big towns and tucked away on its own little beach town. The restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent. Complementary breakfast every morning and the black sand beach is gorgeous with a fantastic view of Mt. Vesuvius. They even have a dock where they send you on a small boat to go to your bigger boat tours to Capri and Amalfi that you can set up with the hotel. Parking is up on the hill from the hotel but they have a little shuttle for you.
