Hotel Baia di Puolo

Beautiful hotel clean with ocean vibe decorated rooms. Hotel has very nice reception workers and staff. very helpful and accommodating to clients. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning a stay in Mass Lubrense, Italy I rate it a 10 Beach is directly across the hotel.

My wife and I came to this location for our honeymoon. We were beyond pleased with the service that was provided to us. We will definitely be coming back

Great Hotel clean, nice beach, great restaurant, beautiful hotel and great location. BEWARE getting there is NOT easy. Thanks everyone for your reviews, I at least knew this before I went. Yes GPS does not take you to the hotel. Let me give you some pointers. GPS takes you to where RESIDENTS and locals can enter the area. There is a man at a gate and he directs you back to the main road. Driving farther south there is an entrance between two white walls. Go down this way to the city parking lot for the beach. CONFUSING since it is marked for several different hotels. The signage is POOR Hotel Baia di Puolo does not Consistently use the same name. Find the unmanned guard shack that has some obscure signage and then continue to the right down what looks like a private driveway for another hotel. There is a pole with arrows to two different hotels, take the one to the right. That tiny sign on the guard shack is trying to get you to go this way. The road is narrow and dark. At the parking lot go to the far end and the hotel parking appears there. Then go through the gate and walk down a dark uneven pathway to the hotel. My wife fell on this walk from the parking lot to the hotel. Better lighting and pavement would be helpful. Oh by the way! If you are in a room in the 500's get off on the floor with rooms marked in the 200's. Your 500 room is to the right and unmarked as you exit the elevator. WORTH it but VERY hard to get to.

Great place to relax, but far from Sorrento proper. Taxi cost 40€ each way so be prepared.

Make sure you understand the discount for dinner at the restaurant attached to the hotel. It was not explained well and the restaurant staff was very rude. The discount offered is if all parties order off the same menu. The meal we had at the restaurant next door the next night was a better meal and less expensive than the "discount" the previous night. Our driver called as we approached the hotel since we were going to be past 7:00. They told him the person helping with luggage had already gone, but it would be easy to get to our room. They neglected to tell him to call when he got to the gate since it was locked. He dropped us off and we pulled our heavy luggage 1/2 a block over uneven terrain. They could have opened the gate so the driver could dropped us off at the door.

We had some trouble finding the place. We put the receptionist on with our taxi driver and they figured it out. Its neatly tucked away in its own village. There plenty of dining options nearby and the location is just phenomenal in itself. The restaurant is great as is. The wifi could be better. But a resort like experience in Italy.

Staff were very accomodating and the view from our room was amazing!
