Parador Nature Resort and Spa

We stayed at the Parador Nature Resort & Spa and we loved it! It is a beautiful family friendly resort with stunning decoration, has amazing pools with the Pacific Ocean view, delicious food, excellent service, and incredible wildlife all around the property. The highlight of our staying was that a white-faced monkey broke into our room! Definitely a story we’ll be telling for years.

We loved the resort, the staff were phenomenal and so friendly. The resort was top notch l, we loved the pool and monkey trail. The view from the restaurant was unbelievable. We loved watching the monkeys and looking for sloths. We would come here again !

The location, facilities, scenic views & wildlife.

The cost of the pool bar snacks. Within the first hour of arrival & having viewed the menu we were surprised at their cost. As a result we decided to eat out at restaurants rather than at the Parador restaurants assuming their menus would also be expensive.

I’m so glad I picked this resort to stay at. The property is beautiful and well integrated with the surrounding nature. Amazing views. So many animals everywhere you look. We saw sloths, monkeys, iguanas, toucans, frogs, and parrots literally every day during our stay. The staff is super nice and they all spoke English very well. The shuttle service is convenient. The breakfast is amazing. All good coming out of the kitchen for lunch and dinner was top notch. I did not expect the menu to be so creative and excellent. The room was fine. Mattresses were a little firm for my taste and I like a firm mattress. They are very firm. The air conditioner functions very well which was always great to come back to after spending all day in the heat. There were more amenities than we got around to. There’s even a library and pool table above the restaurant that’s kind of hidden. Mini golf, multiple play rooms for kids, spa, pickleball court, hiking trail. The pool is great and has an amazing view. My only complaint is the shuttle service from the hotel is overpriced. They charge $360 each way. Other shuttle service companies charge $180-220.

Service was excellent. The place is extremely clean, they valued every one of our requests and made sure we had a special trip.

Had a wonderful time at the Parador Resort!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful to make sure you have the best experience. The resort is beautiful- we saw lots of wildlife each day walking the paths- monkeys, sloths, iguanas, crabs, and more!! Fun to watch the monkeys play right in front of you!! Breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of options. We ate at each restaurant and were very good as well. We took shuttle to manual antonio park-saw more wildlife at resort than we did at park but really enjoyed the flora and scenery(in the rain). Beds comfortable and rooms quiet. Highly recommend this resort if visiting Costa Rica!!

The staff were super nice and friendly! Very clean and constantly the staff were cleaning it was spotless. Beautiful view and breakfast was also great. Loved the monkey trail ! The bed was really comfortable. As a family we really enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend this resort

Amazing experience. The grounds are huge and beautiful. They have their own nature trail which is basically a rain forest with an ocean view. Mango trees everywhere. Tons of monkeys, birds, iguanas, and other wildlife everywhere you look. Food is out of this world - expensive but you get what you pay for. Rooms are immaculate. I usually hesitate to walk barefoot in hotel rooms but these floors were super clean. Housekeeping will come in daily to clean if you want (in some rooms twice a day at your request). They have multiple pools, all beautiful. Fitness center with a couple of treadmills, bikes, cable machines, free weights, etc... Gift shop with all kinds of souvenirs and basic necessities. The best part of this place though is the staff. I've never met a hotel staff that is so patient and kind and helpful. I witnessed some guests being ridiculously demanding and yet everyone from reception to concierge to waiters or waitresses were all accomodating with a smile. There are some steep hills to drive up and down so if you're renting a car be aware. However once you're on the hotel grounds there is plenty of parking. They have a free shuttle that makes multiple scheduled daily runs to the beach and town. Everyone in the restaurants, reception, gift shop, and concierge are bilingual (Spanish and English). I can't imagine ever staying anywhere else after this experience and we will definitely be back.
