Best Western Texas City

Clean, comfortable beds overall well kept and updated. Helpful staff, workout room and nice pool area. Used on a short business trip as an alternative to high rates in Galveston which is just 15-20 driving away.

The carpet in the rooms looked filthy.

Stay was ok. Nothing special. Staff was not very kind and lazy. Said pancake machine was broke when it just needed more batter.

Breakfast was good.

More thought needs to be put in the breakfast choices, poor selection.

My son and I enjoy using the exercise equipment in hotels when we travel, the equipment here didn’t appeal to us here so we passed on our workout. Needs an upgrade on equipment. I also didn’t like the fact that I used the lobby men’s restroom, I held the door open and locked it so I could confirm that it would be locked while I took care of business, it did lock properly while I performed this test but the moment I sat down thinking it was locked a man opened the door and I was so shocked that this happened I got very upset , thankfully we were checking out and leaving. I was hoping to get this opportunity to leave a comment on this experience in a review. Terrible, hopefully the lock has been replaced.

Everything was nice in the rooms are nice, but the ice machine on the second floor was broken and the main area that we would use on your weight room was broken and that was a key reason I booked the room

3rd floor room has a bad mildew smell. It was impossible to even sleep at night.

There was WIFI and a clean restroom.

There was mold almost everywhere.

War ganz in Ordnung, so für die Durchreise. Mehr aber auch nicht.

Der Herr am Empfang, war sehr unfreundlich. Wahrscheinlich, weil wir ihn am Fernsehschauen gestört haben.
