Lindos Sun

Fantastic staff, hotel decor spot on, food very good. A good 15 min walk to town but closer than many and lindos town hotels are small without pools I think. Only criticisms are; drinks a little expensive, meal times sometimes food ran out and there wasn't enough staff to replace it quickly, the room was a twin not a double and the beds wouldn't push together to meet properly. Can't recommend the staff enough!

Amazing location, just far enough away from the town to switch off and relax. Our room was a standard room which was just fine for us; spacious and very clean with a lovely view. Balconies could have been more private but the room itself was very quiet. Free air con was great and the fridge was very handy. Two gripes....the bar staff and snack bar staff were completely disinterested and were rarely available to serve. Half the sun beds weren't adjustable so you are lying in the same position whilst lounging by the pool. People 'bagsied' all the loungers at the crack of dawn and most of them wouldn't turn up until lunchtime! Not the hotels fault though of course. Really relaxing holiday - no music during the day which was lovely. Bar prices were very reasonable and the reception staff were good.

The hotel is very charming, lots of areas to sit, poolside is lovely with a great snack bar, the only downside was service there was slow. Good food served at the breakfast and dinner buffets. Very friendly, helpful staff. Thoroughly recommend as in a great location too. Recommend having a car, Lindos isn't far but too far in the searing heat!

Staff were amazing and we loved the private pool! The food wasn't really for me, although it was okay, so would probably not want to go half board next timne. I think you have to in this hotel though. Grounds are beautiful and the main pool is nice and big - short bus ride from Lindos - busstop right outside the hotel. They can also arrange for you to be picked up and go scuba diving and book spa treatments for you!

Set in a rather lunar landscape and on a busy main road - but once inside the hotel it's very calm, clean and friendly.

The hotel was very average. 20 min walk from Lindos. Nice staff and cheaper than in town. I got what I paid for. Personally my wife and I did not care for breakfast or dinner.

This is a small and exclusive feeling hotel with only about 40 rooms. The staff make you feel very welcome. An excellent hotel if you want to relax. The hotel is not on a beach but close to a main road about 10 minutes walk from Lindos. If you have a car it is an excellent base to visit beaches such as St Pauls, Lindos and Pefkos which are within 5 minutes drive.

Lovely hotel with a great view over the Aegean. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging trips/bus schedules and so on. Buffet varied and mostly very good and a nice pool and outside bar area. Lindos a 20 minute walk away and beautiful St Pauls Bay only 15 minutes or so. The walk is a bit hilly on the way in but is fine on the way back, there is however a bus stop directly outisde the hotel. Would happily return.

We were a mature couple staying 4 nights in June, looking for a peaceful place. Plus points: brilliant design and upkeep in a scenic setting with views of sea; though a main road runs nearby, that is no problem. near to Lindos, bus stop outside, though we had a car. Staff work very hard, v friendly and helpful. Food good, and chef v attentive to my exclusion diet. Room and hotel v clean and tidy.Excellent pool with snack bar.Even thrice weekly visits by a yoga leader. Negatives: v expensive for the hotel services provided. Coffee etc are not included with all meals. Beds are mediocre. Big issue for us was constant loud unpleasant music played in outside areas, for meals and pool, turned down a bit when we asked.

Hotel ok if you are not looking for anything special. Pool is nice but by a road which you get used to. Rooms ok. Nothing special but for the price can't complain. Prices for food and drink reasonable.
