Lindos Sun

This is a very nice little boutique hotel very close to Lindos village. A perfect place where you can enjoy peace and relax. A special thank to Yiota at the bar and to Seva at the reception!

Hotel was fantastic, rooms were lovely and clean, food was great and hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Can’t fault the hotel, beautiful. We stayed in the new part and it was amazing! The food was unreal so much selection and everything was delicious. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. I went to a complementary yoga class on the thurs evening which I really enjoyed. Only draw back was the pillows...not the comfiest but we managed to sleep ok! Location is set in the beautiful picturesque mountain side. It’s not close to anything which was fine for us as quite enjoyed the 15/20 min walk to the local shop in lindos. But the only down side was it is on the main coast road, so you never really got a quiet moment on your balcony or by the pool. The road is really busy but you’d get the odd car driving past every few mins. After a day you kind of just got used to it and didn’t notice it too much.

excellently maintained, lovely staff, good food with plenty of choice. not really for children, swimming pool 1.50 m and no other facilities for them which suited us fine, mainly British guests.

This Hotel ticked all the boxes for us and we had a restful holiday. The staff were fabulous!!

Great hotel very clean food good staff friendly and attentive, pools great the only pick i have is the main road in front of the hotel with lots of traffic and all rooms face it! Lindos town walking distance about 20 mins to shops and supermarkets and taxis vary between 5 and 10 euros so set a price before you ride!

I would definitely stay in this hotel again. Only a 15 minute walk into Lindos. The staff are fantastic. Helpful and friendly. Good food. A good place to choose for a relaxing stay.

The hotel is slightly outside the town of Lindos about 25 minutes walk, (uphill on the way out, down hill on the way back) The hotel has fantastic views across the bay and should you get up early enough with outstanding sunrises. The hotel itself, in the block I stayed in was starting to show signs of age although good maintenance is clearly being done. The staff here can not do enough for you whether its in reception, additional towels or room service, dinning or just evening drinks, the staff are very helpful and are there morning to night so its always great to see the same faces!! There is a mini bar within the room but stock up at the local supermarket. There are bigger, better and newer rooms located around the site some even pool side and some with their own pool!!. The food served at breakfast is very delicious and extremely varied catering for basically everybody. There is a lunch time café/ restaurant and again food is well presented and in large portions and reasonably priced. The evening meal is a buffet style allowing big varied and delicious meals with exceptional puddings. There is an on site day time and evening bar, this is a little pricey compared to England but ice cold drinks always available! The pool is a clean, large kidney shaped infinity pool at a constant depth about 1.5 meters, but not heated so is a little cold to get into. Overall I would stay here again but would upgrade to the better rooms with own secluded pool. 8/10

We had a great week at this super little hotel. If you are looking for something quiet and good value, I'd thoroughly recommend. Don't expect to eat at the hotel every night though, plan to eat out in the local villages, the food is good at the hotel but you are missing out on some great local eating if you stay at the hotel. There's a lack of facilities directly around the hotel with the nearest supermarket being a bus/taxi ride away. You can walk to Lindos but in 34 degree heat, the hill is a bit of a challenge. You can access the beach from just down the road and it's worth a visit for a sea swim. Buses into Lindos are really easy and cheap. We had a superior room which was clean and a good size. If you want a great away from it all good value holiday, Lindos Sun fits the bill. :)

second time at this hotel loved it. Although a bit of walk up hill to Lindos, about 20 mins, you need it after lying around all day. The rooms a spotless and the beds are so comfy. lunch at the bar during the day was excellent the staff work so hard. The only issue i have is the food at dinner could be warmer. Will be back again next year.
