La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham St. Augustine

Clean, convenient and reasonably priced.

Nice stuff, free breakfast and free parking. Very much affordable!

When we were given the room and went in, it smelled terrible. We thought it was the air conditioning, but the smell persisted. We asked to be moved to another room. They changed us, but it was the same, and we decided to stay because it was already late. At breakfast time, there was no coffee or orange juice when we arrived. We asked the front desk for it, but they never brought it, so we decided to eat somewhere else, even though I had paid for breakfast to be included. Terrible hotel — I do not recommend staying there.

Second time to stay at a la Quinta, this is not as clean as the other one I stayed at.

Great breakfast!! Would love to see somenother varietys of fruit besides oranges but other thsn thst great breakfast

We were recently traveling with our dog and needed a place to stay for the night. For only $20 extra we were able to have our dog stay with us. The room looked and smelled very clean. In the morning the breakfast has a mix of hot and cold. I really liked the waffles. The hotel’s proximity to restaurants and shopping was also very convenient. The air conditioner was very loud but kept the room cool and the bed was comfortable.

Excellent stay

So I've been customer of La Quinta on multiple occasions and I've always had a great stay. Here at your St Augustine location left me sad and let down that this was far less of what I expected. Upon arrival I was shock the overgrown grass and lack of landscaping to the property dirty and rundown would be an appropriate description. Another letdown was the breakfast served in the morning. Sausage and eggs everyday where everywhere else they alternated Sausage then bacon there was no bacon. The coffee ran out one day and as I attempted to peak around the corner to let the person know i was approached by an older woman heavyset and walked with a cane that i cannot go in there in an stern tone almost mean. I said the coffee is empty and went on to toast my bagel. The toaster had toast in it so i removed it, "with tongs" thinking someone forgot it. The lady employee with the cane asked if that was my bagel and I said yes then she replied its ready with a huff picked up the toast that was done a.proceeded to throw it in the garbage and toast 2 new sliced. This I found sad and wasteful. I also questioned in my mind should she be feeding herself during cutomer breakfast traffic. Anyway the pool was ok but seemed a bit old and run down. Our room wasn't anything to right home about. The carpet had a musty odor the shower had very little pressure and the toilet flushed slow with no power not to mention i felt like i was sitting on the floor. Definitely in all my worst experience
