Henlopen Oceanfront Hotel

This hotel is offers an affordable and quiet beach experience. Room was clean and convenient to the beach which is just steps away. There is no pool or restaurant avilable at this hotel however it is located on the boardwalk with many walkable dining choices. The door that adjoined our room to the next was thin and we were able to hear the people next door briefly. Loved the lobby coffee machine which offers many choices of beverages for free to guests.

Expensive, but close to main shopping and dining area

Great hotel location. Great access to the beach and access to boardwalk. A small walk to restaurants, bars and boardwalk amusements. The hotel itself was clean and convenient for all your needs.

This was a great option for staying on the beach but not right in the middle of the Rehoboth boardwalk. Easy walk to everything, clean rooms, parking.

Our trip to Rehoboth was truly memorable as we celebrated our baby girl's 6-month milestone. We are delighted that we chose the Henlopen Oceanfront Hotel. Victoria and Alexander were exceptionally friendly, professional, and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile. The room was impeccably clean, which is very important to me, thanks to our housekeeper, Diana. We are grateful to the team for making us feel so welcome; we had a wonderful stay.

Great beds

We saw a decline in room cleanliness from previous stays. The expectation as prices were higher this time, was that at least the standard was kept but you could see the bathroom had barely been cleaned- we had to do our own cleaning to feel ok. The bedding was rumpled which made us think it may have not been changed even. Service at front desk was great but the room itself was disappointing.

Great location and free parking, but the hotel itself could definitely use some updating-furnishings and linens are old and mattresses need to be replaced.

Beautiful hotel

Great location, on the boardwalk. My complaints are the parking situation: it’s hard to find parking if you come back late from dinner. Our room floor had sand and they didn’t sweep the floor, no room service unless you ask them to clean the room. Front desk staff was helpful. Good beverages in the lobby.
