Days Inn by Wyndham Centre

Overall great appearance and layout. Great parking lot for those pulling a trailer or a boat. Great dining options next door and within a short distance. Hotel was nicely updated and the mini fridge and microwave seemed to be new. Nice little kitchenette with lots of cabinet space.

Please don’t stay here. Drug smell throughout the entire non smoking room, so bad my toddler began throwing up. No breakfast, lady was still in her PjS, people out in the parking lot drinking doing drugs and being VILE in their actions. Probably the worst place I’ve ever stayed.

Overall okay, but if you choose to cancel the day of your arrival, the operators have an unwritten policy that is not mentioned online nor will it show up in your confirmation email. Bottom line, they will charge you 50% of the room charge, even though the online policy clearly says you can cancel until 6:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. Here is a cut and past of the exact info on my reservation/confirmation email: Deposit Policy Reservation will be held until 6pm day of arrival. Cancellation Policy Cancel before 6PM day of arrival to avoid a 1 night charge plus applicable tax. So, I tried to cancel early afternoon, but was told about this policy of the 50% charge for cancelling on the same day. Do you see anything about a same day 50% cancellation penalty? I wasn't going to pay them $50+ (the rate was $99 + tax) because I changed my mind, even when I pointed out the policy printed on my confirmation, so I stayed the night. Just don't wait until the day of your stay to cancel, you will get hit with a 50% penalty. I would ask for a room away from the club/restaurant/venue next door, because if you are in a room near it, you may get some noise. Not their fault, but just so you know.

This hotel is filthy with a bar with outside live music right next door. I asked for the bathroom mirror to be cleaned and for the bugs to be wiped off the lampshades. No one addressed it! Filthy!!

CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE!! MADE NO EFFORT TO ACCOMMODATE ME!!!! Don't post it. Did you even Bother to see I did not stay there?? Post it or not I am NOT changing it!!!!

The room was clean for the most part. Around base boards and bathroom fan was covered in dust bunnies. Everything else looked fine. The bed was the worst I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. Has a metal base that popped every time you got up and was like sleeping on concrete. Check in was ok but desk clerk had to go find out if room was ready even though it was past check in time. Would not choose this property again.

The experience here was so bad to write about immediately and because I file a complaint with department of Justice civil rights division and will also file with bbb. This is what happen I went to check into this location and a lady gave Me a hard time and ask for information that violated my hippa rights and refused to let me check in. I told the lady that what she was doing and the police was called and I also called days inn cooperate and they said that is not their policy and that they are welcome at all their locations. This hotel told me that they are a franchise and privately owned and they can do what they want even if it violates the law. The police came and they also told this lady that she was breaking the law by not allowing me to stay there the lady finally decided to go ahead and check me in and she never apologized for how she treated me and in fact she threw the keys card at me and said here your room is on the 1st floor. I do not hold days inn responsible for what took place at this hotel because I have stayed with them before with no issues. I think that days inn should investigate this hotel even if it's a franchise because this hotel should have to answer to them because it is making them look bad. I know for fact mcdonalds has alot of franchise locations but they still would n3ver allow their customers to be mistreated and franchise stores must follow the policy of who's name they are using. This hotel broke the law and tried to violate my hippa and are uneducated in laws under the Americans with disabilities act. I advise to anyone not stay here but stay at another hotel in the same area and to avoid this horrible excuse for a hotel
