Bow Guest House

Breakfast was fine. The tea was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were very helpful. Check-in and check-out was easy.

It would have been nice if breakfast had been available after 9am, especially on a weekend. I had a rather late night (the reason I was staying at a hotel at all) and more of a lie-in would have been good.

Guest house has permanent residents not the nice sort either, oh and it's infested with bed bugs

Sundeep (reception) was very friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed and carrying my bag to my room as a gesture of respect/kindness (I ddin't ask him to do this). The room was very clean and although it was basic, it had everything I needed for my stay. It was great to have a cooked breakfast included in the price and it was definitely one of the nicest breakfasts & cups of coffee I've had in a B&B / Airbnb.

The radiator control knob was broken, so I couldn't turn it off when the room was getting hot. I noticed that the window next to the radiator was open, so this must be how people cool the room down. The heating went off sometime around 10pm, so the room was ok while I slept, but it's a big waste of energy.

friendly people,.. .. but we do think understaffed for the cleaning department, One (very friendly) lady had to serve the breadfast as well the cleaning of all the guests rooms, we think that is too much for one person to do that thourougly. The real 'English Breakfast' was excellent, not too much, and very well prepared!

We had to ask for fresh towels, coffee/thee cups were not cleaned, we did this by ourselves Small rooms, soft beds, but the latter is a matter of 'taste'. Floor in breakfast area was 'sticky' at the shoes: should be cleaned with soap ? No great choice in breakfast area for sandwich toppings for your sandwich, only 3 types of marmelade, no cheeses, no savory or chocolate topping, no yoghurt .

Lovely to be able to have a full cooked breakfast setting me up for the day.

Bathroom could have been a little cleaner.

Everything, it has to be the most grubbiest place I have ever stayed. The bed was dirty when I arrived so had to switch rooms, the shower was useless and their hover must have broken many years ago. Disgusting

The bed looked clean.

The shower and sink in the room were very dirty with hair left from the previous people. The room also smelled of tabaco smoke. The fire alarm started twice, at 12am and 2am.
